Hotel Nicolaas Witsen

Location is nice; close to metro/tram station but very quiet, and a nice area to walk around. I was in the street-facing ground floor but it was not loud. The breakfast is really nice - simple, but every dish and pastry was great. Shower / AC / wifi all worked well. Price was competitive given the location. The room was compact but spacious enough with good desk and closet. It has original character. This is my second time staying at this hotel, but they always give me a happy memory.

I had a fond memory of interacting with staffs from my first visit, perhaps not so much this time - they were very professional and I didn’t find it disturbing though. The lighting was a little dim for desk work.

Beautiful property, great location, gorgeous room, great family owned place with stellar vibe.I will definitely stay again!

Everything was awesome!

Location was quiet and near to Ryks Museum and trams. Room was comfortable.

Breakfast was very expensive so we went to a local cafe

Location of hotel was great.

The hotel recommended a Multi Storey car park, near by, which we parked over two nights. Unfortunately this car park is notorious for break-in’s and isn’t manned so anyone can venture into it. As a result, we had our rear window smashed in and when we went to the police, they showed us the reviews and it’s been like this for the last two years. Why did this hotel, direct us to this car park - not good at all.
