Hotel Gasthof zur Post

Beer garden

Zentral gelegen, selbst einchecken problemlos, alle nötigen Infos vorhanden.

Wolfegg is a cute little village. Also the museum nearby is worth visiting.

The pictures are misleading, the rooms in the hotel are very old-fashioned and a lot of stuff is really outdated. I have no idea where the pictures of the modern bedrooms with the renovated bathrooms are taken from. Lots of stuff needs renewal, e.g. the trashcan in our bathroom was broken and hadn't been replaced. Overall the hotel gives the impression of a run down place that has not been taken care of since quite some time. We also did not feel very comfortable with the hygiene rules there, there were people without masks walking around at breakfast, the indoor restaurant was fully packed at dinner and the windows were not open during peak time. Beer in the Biergarten is good, food is really average, staff is okay but overwhelmed with work and kinda lacks organisation; for the quality I have to say I can't believe people hold their wedding reception there.During lunch and dinner time there is hardly any parking spot close to the hotel.
