Herbert Samuel The Reef Eilat

Location is very good if you want a beach vacation in Eilat - right on the south beaches, a couple of supermarkets and restaurants nearby. You can snorkel to the reef from there. Very good breakfast buffet.

A little on the pricy side. Hotel said they offered beach beds, but they were left stacked and chained up, unused which is just a waste.

Away from the busyness of downtown and quiet beachfront with available water sports

Very good location, especially for guests who prefer to stay away from the busy city side • Nice beach facilities and direct beach access • Overall stay was calm and pleasant • The bed itself was acceptable

• For the Herbert Samuel brand, the hotel feels underwhelming—closer to a 2–3 star level • Design feels outdated, like stepping back into the 1990s • Hallways are sad and uninspiring • Main lobby lacks warmth, character, and contemporary hospitality design • Pillows felt cheap; I used my own • Beach chairs would benefit greatly from cushions • The “Essence by Sati” scent used throughout the hotel is overwhelming and unpleasant; I removed it from the room and placed it on the balcony

The best thing about the hotel is the location on the beach. Breakfast is also ok and has a variety of foods.

Feels very outdated and not the cleanest. Most rooms have a bad view - balconies of Deluxe rooms on top of other rooms with pools which gives a lack of privacy, and overall a low value for money.
