We loved the location of the cabin, once we found it. Google maps gave of the wrong house and I did not see the specifics in the email sent by Vacasa. My mistake!
Getting into the home was somewhat hard. The main photo which shows the trail to the home is the only way in. We arrived right after a snow storm and the walkway was cover in snow and icy. We made it work though. We did have some issues getting our stuff in and out of the home (food & snow gear). The house sits on a hill. So when you go to the side and back of the home, it slopes down. Perfect for sledding. We loved it!! Theres enough forest for a small hike behind the home and theres a small stream. Again, we loved this part of the home.
The house is nice. Lots of bed space. Upstairs is a good size. Kitchen was stocked and the stove was great (we've been in cabins with stoves that were terrible making it hard to cook). My only issue with the layout of the house is both upstairs and downstairs are open areas (no doors) so sound travels. Only 3 rooms have doors to block out sound. With some people going to bed earlier than others, it can be an issue. Also, the temperature of the come is not the best. Upstairs was cold (especially the corner room). Keeping the living room/kitchen warm meant the 2 bedrooms on the same floor were HOT! We had to turn on a fan and open the window.
All in all, we had a great time and liked the home. Probably wont rent again just because the layout does not suit our needs but I would highly recommend it.

The house was very dirty and dusty with spider webs. Overall the house was big and nice but not clean.
If you plan to go during summer time to this house there is no air conditioning.
There is fans and wall air conditioning but only in the rooms.

Our family had a great week at this cabin for our annual Shaver Lake trip. There was plenty of space for our group, the top floor was a little hot but fans were adequate for the kid to sleep. The AC units in the 3 bedrooms were much appreciated and the basement floor stayed super cool and didn’t need one anyway. Cabin had everything we needed for a good stay.

Great cabin
Our family had a great week at this cabin for our annual Shaver Lake trip. There was plenty of space for our group, the top floor was a little hot but fans were adequate for the kid to sleep. The home has three levels, plenty of room, lots of beds. Clean bathrooms, plenty of clean towels. Quiet lovely neighborhood. Appreciate the Netflix/cable options. Large kitchen is great for cooking. Unfortunately our stay was during an excessive heat wave in July. Some of the bedrooms had small AC installed in the windows, which provided relief to those bedrooms. There were many fans throughout the house to try to help, but unfortunately the rest of the home would not cool during the heat wave. We tried to spend time out on the balcony although there were many yellow jackets/bees living underneath the decking coming up that limited our ability to utilize that lovely space. Overall a lovely home, just happened to be there during heat wave with some cooling challenges.

It had lots of space. It’s a little run down and needs to work on the cleanliness. We rented two properties that weren’t too far from each other. The party that slept here had 10. We used this place as a meet up with the second group before we took off to enjoy the lake. The management team came and told us we were over capacity. I explained to him that we were only going to be here for a bit and had no plans on staying as we were all heading to the Lake. Since there was 12 people at the time, he said two people needed to leave that only 10 could be on the premises at all times. Reading other reviews I saw people with parties of 14 that stayed the night when the listing says 11 and the management says it’s 10. They have cameras all over the property so you don’t have any privacy and that’s how they knew we had 12 people just before heading to the Lake. I felt since they had cameras what was the big deal. We weren’t doing anything wrong and caused no damage to the property. We booked 2 days to enjoy the Lake, not to stay at the house the entire time. We ended up leaving and meeting at the other property since the management there were more nicer. We just wanted to enjoy the Lake not deal with the extra drama. It just seems like they pick and choose as management says 10, listing says 11, reviews say more. Save yourself the drama.

Renters be aware that there are multiple cameras and listening devices in outside private areas where there is supposed to be privacy and you are not allowed to make any noise at all, talking, laughing or enjoying your time. we were there on a family vacation. No music no partying and we still had a false noise complaint from the owner at 9:00 pm threatened to be kicked out and this was all before the posted quiet time of 10:00 pm. We were on edge from the first night and did not enjoy our stay one bit. Vacasa does not post that there are cameras on the home description and we felt like our privacy was violated. Thank you

Perfect spot for sledding!
We rented this cabin for Valentine’s weekend. Our party was 10 adults and 4 children. It was the absolute perfect spot for sledding! There is a hill right on the property so you literally just walk outside to fun. There were plenty of beds for everyone to sleep comfortably, plenty of plates and cookware. I would recommend bringing napkins and toilet paper because we did run out. I would give 5 stars, but the hot water only lasted long enough for 1-2 people to shower every few hours, and not long enough to fill up a bath for the kids. The main floor shower also gave us a few issues, but we contacted maintenance about that so hopefully it will be fixed for next time.**only saw 1 live spider during our stay in the downstairs suite. I honestly would have had serious FOMO if we hadn’t seen one after reading the other reviews 😂 We would definitely stay here again! Bring slippers, no shoes inside the house.

Had a great trip
Be sure when vacasa verified your trip you get 2 codes one for screen door and one for front door. We were on the porch for 45 minutes waiting to get entry text went un answered for an hour. We finally got entry through waiting on phone. The house was nice with window air conditioning in most bedrooms. Plenty of pots and pans and kitchen items. Bring your own dish towels. We had plenty of bath towels. We very much liked the cabin and enjoyed our stay.

Reunion Retreat at Shaver Lake
This was a fantastic spot for our group of 11 to have our annual reunion. We were an 8 minute drive to Shaver Lake and local convenience stores. The fireplace and the balcony were lovely, and we couldn't get over how beautiful the view was from the large windows in the living room. There were exactly enough chairs so squish ourselves around the dinner table, so if you have a bigger group than that, you might want to bring your own chairs! We had a bit of trouble checking in, but only because the owner had locked our access to the heater because they got their dates mixed up. Once we got the heater going, we were very comfortable and happy! We also had some trouble with the wifi on the last two days of our stay. The connection was so low that we weren't able to stream movies. Overall, it was a great choice for our group!

Beautiful Cabin!!!
What can I say other than I wish I could buy this cabin! It's so warm and welcoming, clean and cozy. We had the best weekend ever! Everything seems to be updated and the decor is beautiful. I loved looking out the large A Frame windows into nothing but greenery. I highly recommend this rental for any occasion!

We had a group of 13 coming in on Feb 2019 and the house was so great!
Everyone had a bed and the futons were already set up to accommodate everyone plus extra linens in the closet!
Kitchen was so great fully stocked!
The 3 days we were there were jam packed with snow, and the house was always warm and cozy.
Only tip I have is warn guests that they will need to shovel their cars out from the deep snow which was very hard work! Definitely appreciate the shovels provided outside of the door. And neighbors were super nice and helpful when one of our guests was stuck in the snow.
Overall, great home and so nice to be so close to town!
Everyone had a bed and the futons were already set up to accommodate everyone plus extra linens in the closet!

Wonderful winter wonderland A+++
We had a wonderful stay. EVERYTHING you need is there. Can'r say enough about the place. Clean, comfy and cozy. We had a group of and and probably could have had 8 more comfortably. We had 3' of snow this weekend but managed to get out thanks to a nice plow driver and 4wd. Can't wait to go back!

Comfortable House
We had 9 adults and 5 kids in this cabin and there was plenty of room for everyone to have privacy. Bedrooms and baths are on each of the 3 levels. The views are beautiful and the neighborhood quiet.
