Un'affascinante e irresistibile casa tipica in pietra, perfettamente ristrutturata, situata a Loveno, sulle colline di Menaggio, a soli 1,5 km dal lago. Una posizione tranquilla, con un piccolo giardino e una meravigliosa terrazza con vista sul lago e sul bosco, dove si possono gustare cene romantiche e giornate pigre al sole. Vieni qui per dimenticare il resto del mondo! Rilassati e scopri la bellezza del Lago di Como e delle sue montagne. Se ti piace camminare ed escursioni, da casa puoi iniziare diversi percorsi, da facili a difficili. Nel centro di Menaggio, facilmente raggiungibile in auto o in 15-20 minuti a piedi, puoi trovare tutti i servizi di cui hai bisogno: negozi, supermercati, ristoranti, bar, internet point, banche, ufficio postale, pubblico spiaggia con piscina, lungolago, traghetto, stazione degli autobus e molti altri. Every morning we enjoyed a cup of tea on the terrace overlooking the lake and the snowy mountain tops in the distance. The view really makes the cottage special. The cottage is not so big but has everything you need. The stairway to the bedroom is quite narrow so maybe not so suitable if you’ve difficulty walking. Deborah was very helpful and send us a good video of the driving directions to the cottage. The last part can be a bit tricky but with the video we managed just fine. If we visit lake como again we would love to come back to the cottage!

Lovely cottage on the hillside overlooking Menaggio and Lake Como. Everything you need is there. Deborah was very helpful, answering all questions. Walks from the cottage were lovely and the fenced in garden was great for our dog. Two or three local restaurants also within walking distance. Weather was fabulous too, even the lightning storm one night!

What everyone else said! Its a lovely house, nicely decorated and clean. Its in a good location especially if you like walking as there is a starting point for many trails nearby. People mentioned the steep road to the cottage; it is steep and narrow, but to give a sense of proportion we managed to get a Mercedes E class up it, but had to do a 3 point turn on one bend and there was not much room either side. As a large 50 year old I also needed a couple of stops on the walk back from Menaggio itself but there are seats all along the way and a water fountain in one small square so it was fine and I did it 4 times in the week. Id say it took 25 mins to walk down, and 45 up with stops, but Im overweight and unfit.Deborah was very helpful, pleasant and speaks really good English. If like me you Google Earth destinations, there is now a house being built in the field next door by Deborah, but it is not overlooking the property and you still feel peaceful and away from it all.We will be back in a couple of years when were ready to return to the area. The views were stunning, garden pretty and facilities just what you need for a holiday for two.
