The beautiful location
The kindness of the staff (our flight got cancelled so we needed to find a hotel fast. We arrived at midnight and they waited for us)

The hotel exceeded our expectations as sometimes these older hotels don't live up to the photos. Amazing views and different areas in the garden to relax or play games. Breakfast was very good and staff very friendly and attentive. The room was very comfortable and clean. It had a restaurant which had nice food and convenient if you wanted to have a few drinks by the pool and not drive at night.
We mistakenly thought when we booked that a room with land view would be facing the mountains, however these were labelled sea views (even though I don't think you could see the sea from that angle). I think their descriptions can be a bit confusing.

this place is nice, but is not a 4 star hotel. most things are old and quite tired.
