Hotel Richard Löwenherz

Really good Wi-Fi. Exceptionally clean. Amazing breakfast buffet. And the room I had which was number 35 was remodeled. Had AC and a balcony with a generous slider. Take your time looking through all the artwork in this hotel.

Beautiful historical building, furnished to suite the property and decorated with an extensive amount of original art reflecting the history and location of the place. Excellent location overlooking the Danube river. Our river-view suite was very comfortable and well equipped. Appreciated that parking is provided. Loved staying there.

There was nothing to dislike.

We honestly didn’t do much research before arriving at Hotel Richard Löwenherz, so when we got there, we were completely in awe. It was the first place on our Europe trip that truly left us speechless. We will be talking about this hotel for years to come. It is beautiful, but even “beautiful” doesn’t quite do it justice. Everything about the hotel was wonderful: the room, the bathroom, the breakfast, the staff, the garden, and the location. Every detail made the experience feel special. And then there’s the restaurant. We had such an amazing dinner there, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our stay. If you’re staying at the hotel, absolutely have dinner at the restaurant, it’s a place you shouldn’t miss. There really isn’t much more to say other than: everything was incredible. Hotel Richard Löwenherz completely exceeded anything we could have expected, especially since we arrived without knowing much about it. One of the most memorable stays of our entire trip, and a place we would happily return to.
