Very friendly and helpful staff
No shower in my bathroom, and the bath was in the bedroom!

Very nice location, garden and atmosphere in the hotel
On the day we checked into the hotel, there was a wedding taking place, which we had not been informed about in advance. The music and loud conversations under our window were somewhat disruptive and made it difficult to enjoy a peaceful stay.

A lovely hotel, Good location for visiting the area. Decorated nicely, traditional in the main building, modern aspects in the other adjacent buildings.
We didn’t get the room we booked so away from main hotel and our other party members. The hotel were quick to close down breakfast and the evening bar closed early (9,30pm)???
Non or very little atmosphere. It appeared lots of under utilised areas for a hotel of this size.

The hotel looked lovely from the outside, and there was a nice breakfast in the morning. The bed was comfortable.
When we arrived to check in around 8.30pm, we was going to eat in the restaurant, but 4 people were at reception complaining about the restaurant food not being served and wrong orders coming out, and the customers were really annoyed so we decided not to have any dinner in the restaurant. The bathroom looked tired with cracked floor tiles and the toilet roll holder hanging off the wall, there wasnt any plug sockets near the bed, so to charge up phones and equipment we had to put at the other end of the room which is inconvenient.
