we had a great stay at Aurora Guest Units. The location is perfect, close to Durbanville center and the wine valley with all the nice spots to do wine tastings and eat and hang out with friends. Yet in a very calm and quiet area. The flat was very spacious and clean and it had everything you need. we also liked that we had our own corner in the garden with a braai and furniture outside. Safe parking for our rental was just outside our door. Ian is a great host, very friendly and helpful. We really recommend this place, you can’t get more value for the money that it cost! we will definitely return to Ian’s place:)

Just for backdoor at braai to open for a flow through of air in room, because in front you cannot open then guest see straight into flat. Maybe a 2nd fan for living room, we coming from northern cape is use to aircons.

Ideal location for event we were attending

It situaded in a lovely quite area in Durbanville, close to all anemeties. Nice unite, as u have space, and a lovely garden.

Parking is a problem as there are limited space. Unit is very old and out dated, needs attention. Place appeares nice, but it was not clean. Bookings .com rating is 8.5, but for me is is 3.5. Bed linnen was ckean and nice, but when i made the bedand pulled fitted sheet there were hair on matress pritector. Under the ved there are old flufs and things, the bedside tabke had ols spuderwebs. The shower in de bedroom is very dirty and I hated to shower because the water dies nit fkiw away , it makes a big dirty dam with scum up to your ankles, the grouting has black alge, wich is harmfull to people. The bathroom was fibe but the bath was dirty. The living area apoeared to be clean but on inspecting, there were lo g blond gear all over, spider webs on loft are and dust balls all over. I fo understand covid played big roll but this is a majior proticol fir covid spreading. Plus the money I payed i could get a self catering unit at Marriot Hitel in Durbanville for a R1000 more, and they are always clean and spotless.
