The place is lovely. It was easy to find and very close to where we needed to be. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I felt right at home and a little spoilt, too.

The facility appears to have good security. The staff were eager to help but untrained.

We made the booking based on the information provided on the website. Unfortunately, the web photos were not the reality we dealt with. The staff were extremely motivated to assist in any way but it was clear that they had received very little or no training. We arrived on a Friday afternoon but found the bar closed. The receptionist eagerly opened the bar but, not being the barman, could only do his best to figure out what we wanted. Same for the service staff. On more than one day toiletries were not replaced and we had to go to reception to get them. The décor is tired and in need of a serious update. The Tuscan theme would have been great 30 years ago when new but is now dated and not well maintained. The lack of maintenance was the biggest issue. Peeling paint, cracked tiles in the bathroom, mold in the shower, and, yes, mold on the bathroom walls. No excuse for mold in bathrooms – anywhere. Overall, not good value for money at all.

Secure, clean, close to work. dinner was good and didn’t need to leave and fine food.

one staff member at front desk on arrival trying to check in guests and serve guests in restaurant. poor guy tried his best but was struggling especially because payment system was broken
