Lovely get away from it all with lots of wildlife. Comfy sofas and beds. There are road works leading up to the property at the moment (April 26). The signs say road closed, but access to the property is still ok. Would recommend for couples and families. The 3 properties and large outdoor space would be great for a larger group all wanting to travel together. The only suggestion I would make is maybe add what three words location to the getting there instructions.

We enjoyed our 7 nights at this this well appointed large 3 bedroom 2 bathroom cottage.Fully equipped kitchen & laundry. Spacious open plan living area.We loved waking up to the sound of the local farm animals Parking was right at our cottage doorstep which was a bonus for us.Short drive to Wigton and Caldabeck with several pubs available with excellent food.Keswick is a 20 minute drive away with numerous restaurants and cafes.Nat and John were great hosts . We thoroughly recommend the Hayloft Cottage .We hope to return during 2027.

Great location for accessing Cumbrian Coast and Lakes. We'll set up for long or short stay.

The whole cottage has a lovely homely feel. It has everything you could possibly need for a perfect holiday. Large living space & kitchen. Large bedrooms with very comfortable beds. We travelled with my elderly parents & there was more than enough space for all of us. Plus the whole place was spotlessly clean. Great location to explore the lovely Lake District. Great communication from start to finish. The owners are available if needed but otherwise leave you to enjoy your holiday. Can’t recommend this cottage highly enough. Thankyou Natalie & John for a brilliant holiday.
