This is a house full of charm and convenience. We had 7 adults staying here and it was perfect for us-loved the convenience of 4 bathrooms. As an older renovated home, it was beautifully done with old world charm. The fireplaces in two bedrooms and living area are so nice. We enjoyed our stay and would love to return.

Stayed in Murfreesboro to watch our granddaughter play in a soccer tournament. This VRBO met are needs and was close to the soccer fields. This is an older home with character.

Travis Tritt concert was awesome. Vrbo home had a bad ant problem in the kitchen and the home really needs some landscaping maintenance and a really good cleaning inside and out.

We love the property and owners are the BEST!! Location is excellent. Property could not be more cozy....a home away from home! This was our second stay in less than a year and we will definitely book again! The neighborhood is good for walking if you are traveling with a dog. Thank you all again!! See you next time!!

We have stayed in several VRBO properties and this house has taken over the top spot! Great property, location and the owners are terrific! We will absolutely plan to stay again when in Murfreesboro!! Thank you all so much!!

The house was very nice and clean

Please take note my review is the the Carriage Lane Inn which is operated by the same people and directly next door to this home. I did not stay at this property, but after requesting to book this property was told it was booked and move to the larger home at the same rate. Overall, the house was huge and the perfect place for my family. I only have three issues: 1. There was an ant problem in the Burgundy bathroom. They had placed traps, but it doesn’t seem to be working as they were everywhere! 2. Outdoor ashtrays all had cigarette buts (not from our party). Personally preference that these be thrown away after each party. 3. Pillows weren’t the greatest and some were reported (by other members of my party) to have a bad odor. My mom’s pillow was so smelly that she purchased a pillow and pillow case for the second night.

We stayed here while visiting our daughter in Murfreesboro. It was a great place to stay. It allowed us the space to visit with our daughter without feeling cramped in a hotel room. I would highly recommend it.

My ladies tennis team rented the cottage house property for a tennis tournament in Murfreesboro. The house was clean and comfortable with plenty of space for the women plus tennis equipment. The kitchen is quite large with a big table to accommodate a big family or team. The back porch area has a nice sitting area and table and chairs. Each bedroom has a TV. coffee maker and private full bathroom - very comfortable and private. The owners were great and even accommodated our need for a delayed checkout time. I recommend the property and we will rent again next year!

This was the perfect place for 3 couples to stay for a family wedding weekend. We appreciated having 3 en suite bedrooms, gathered nightly for games at the large kitchen table and spent hours enjoying the backyard from the large swing on the back porch. We walked to the town square, and went to Puckett’s for a casual dinner and live music. We love the charm of this 1920’s era home. Victoria could not have been more responsive. We are expecting another Murphreesboro wedding in the future and are hoping this place will be available!

Though there are TVs, we never turned one on because we enjoyed each other’s company around the big kitchen table instead!! It was amazing and perfect!! Will definitely stay here again!!

Excellent location, walking distance to Murfreesboro's historic square and Oaklands antebellum mansion. House was open and airy, bed rooms charmingly decorated with spacious adjoining bathrooms, cute outdoor patio perfect for after dinner visiting. Kitchen had a large dining table we could all gather around. Perfect for family reunion!

The Updated 1920’s charmer was quite nice. The neighborhood was very cute and the house very spacious. Thanks to the large driveway we were able to store a trailer we used to deliver my daughter to MTSU. We brought my parents and their pet thanks to the pet policy, thanks. Only comment is that the kitchen needs a few more pots pans, and sharp knives. Thanks for allowing us to stay, we will be back as my daughter has 2 years of school to go.

The cottage proved to be a good fit for our family, with three bedrooms and four bathrooms. One of our sons and his family, however, were very cold our first night there because the vent had been closed in their room. After investigating the reason for the cold room and remedying the situation, the room became much warmer, and they were able to get a good night's sleep. The fireplaces were much welcome and provided a cozy atmosphere. Our main criticism would be that there were not sufficient bed coverings for the sleeper sofa which was utilized for one night, making it difficult for all ten of our party to stay warm for that one night. The courtyard and back porch were lovely, and we were all of the opinion that a return visit in the springtime would be a wonderful time in which to enjoy that feature of the house. Despite the coldness of the weather outside, we were able to stay warm and to enjoy our visit with each other and our relatives in the area.
