The location, just a short walk to the marina and playas, everything available, wifi perfect for team calls with 2 people

Going home as it was only a short break but I will definitely be back there.

the location was great, host was sick so cleaners let us in early to leave our bags and they were really nice. The apartment was lovely and clean, lovely shower, WiFi was good and there was a air conditioner / heater

The bathroom door is a bit fiddly as others have said but once you get the hang of it it’s easy enough. And this is more a warning rather than a complaint but there are doorbells outside each apartment door and they look like light switches so be careful not to ring someone’s doorbell like I did!!! But that’s obviously not the hosts fault

Bedroom very small. On vacating property, having to move car from underground car park before returning the keys to apartment on 6th floor.

The host Ana is welcoming and very responsive to any queries we had. The apartment is very clean and has what you need during your stay. Convenient location to all the restaurants, pubs, supermarkets; the Marina, the promenade and the beach are 8 minutes walk. The air conditioning during the heat wave was bliss. Small balcony overlooking the sea.

If you are coming with a car, do yourself a favour and find street parking. There is no allocated parking space in the basement parking, which is tiny, very hard to manoeuver, and caters only for the residents who could block your car. Another factor that is really out of the host's control is the cooking smells from the next-door neighbours.

The small things like bathroom door difficult to lock, sliding patio door locks not functioning and shower slow to drain away, these to me are trivial things that could be remedied at little cost.

We loved our time in Benalmádena. The host is friendly and very welcoming and helpful when needs be. The location is central. We opted not to rent a car and it was a good call. The garage could prove troublesome for drivers that aren't comfortable in very tight spaces. But Ubers are very cheap so there's no stress. We visited the Marina, the cable cars/ falconry, the aqua park, Malaga city centre and much more through the use of Uber and it worked out cheaper than car rental, which is good to keep in mind. This location proved to be a perfect base to work from. It's also just a five minute walk from the beach. It's extremely clean, stocked with towels, washing equipment to do laundry, and the host provides a lovely bottle of rose to kick things off. If you run out of anything or need day day essentials there is a convenience store below or a Lidl within ten minutes of walking. The apartment isn't overly big. There is one double bed in its own room. Then there is one pull-out couch double bed for the kids in the sitting room. Just something to keep in mind while booking. We did rent a car for one night to drive to Ronda and I would recommend using Europcar at Malaga Airport. They are cheap, no hidden costs and provide an amazing service. Overall an amazing family stay.
