The Hotel is lovely, with spotlessly clean rooms & super friendly staff. The food is great. We lovely views from our double aspect double room.

The staff were very friendly. The dinner on night one was lovely as was lunch and breakfast.
The staff were clearly keen to close the bar around 21.30 on a Saturday. But they said it was okay for us to have a drink, but as it was clear they wanted to close up, it did not make it feel comfortable.
They offered a choice of breaded or battered fish, both myself and another couple ordered breaded and were served battered. If chef doesn't know the difference or the breaded was not available then the staff should say so. The battered fish was still very good, but that's not the point.

Breakfast OK. Evening meals fine. Staff friendly.
Unexceptable wet carpet between bed and en-suite.
Should not have been use until dry. No offer of alternative or compensation.
