The Benson Hotel

Good location, lovely host, comfortable bed

Shower a bit tight to get in but powerful so good overall

Rooms very clean decor lovely bedding clean comfortable bed smells nice clean towels very well put together spotless hotel. Christine does a fantastic job with the help of Stacey. Who is lovely. We wish them the best for the future as we learned from her neighbour her partner isnt well. And under the circumstances she does a bloody good job. And Christine helped us with car parking. Which was help full aa I have presumo brain tumour celbritis and didnt want to park too far away. Also to say it was close to prom its very quiet and we did Sleptwell.

Nothing really . Just probley no hand wash or hand soap in the bathroom. But i had shower jell.with me . Not enough sugar n milk on the complementary drinks in room .

Location,Cleanliness, The Staff

The surrounding area is a bit rundown, but this is not the hotel’s fault

The owner and her son was absolutely lovely. Even moved their car so we could park ours. Repeatedly as we was in and out.

The bed was uncomfortable and there was no breakfast and no bar. Although the owner Christine is now having to care for her husband as he’s had a major stroke. Absolutely heartbreaking
