The villa was comfortable and well equipped, with good WiFi and comfortable beds. The outdoor area was a good size with everything we needed and we enjoyed having our own pool. The location was also convenient for Playa Blanca and Marina Rubicón. Overall we had a very enjoyable family holiday.

Unfortunately our arrival wasn’t very smooth. We were not advised of the door number and hadn’t received the access code by our check-in time, so we had to phone to find the property and obtain the code. There are significant building works at both ends of the street, which created a lot of dust, particularly in the pool and garden area, although the pool was cleaned during our stay. We were advised that a mid-stay clean would take place on the Friday. This didn’t happen and we were then advised it would be carried out on Saturday, and finally Monday, when it actually took place. The master en-suite toilet stopped flushing, we had an issue with a lock to an external door which I fixed myself, and although we appreciate ants are common in Lanzarote, finding a large number inside the dishwasher was unpleasant. The BBQ was also tucked away around the side of the villa in a location that didn’t encourage us to use it.

The fact there was no working safe. We also for 4 days had the neighbours from hell.

Location is excellent and the villa is spacious

Cleanliness although I appreciate that loads of building work is surrounding the property making it very dusty. No water or welcome pack as previously (although there was a bottle of wine)which would be difficult if you had a late arrival like us. Not sufficient equipment in the kitchen or faulty e.g pedal bin not working and kettle wouldn’t switch off on it’s own

The location was very good for access to the marina bars and restaurants.

The property was not as shown in the photographs. The property was tired with the furniture being old and mismatched. The overall cleanliness of the property was poor with the soft furnishings and cushions being particularly soiled The pool wasn’t clean and had a covering of sand on the bottom. No instructions were provided on how to use the door entry system. General communication from the property management fell way below the anticipated standard.
