may not return in winter to this property

We didn’t like the fact that there was no heating other than a wood fire- which we had to constantly feed in order to stay warm - winter is cold in Tasmania- needs an a/c unit to add to the comfort.

sorry, typed around the wrong way……we did like the house, the furnishings ….. the proximity to everything . 😀

Even the weather was great beautiful sunshine coming in the double glazed windows

Danish vibe, great facilities hot water instantly in the shower , location in village, library of great authors , comfy beds

We were not the best kindling choppers The fire was great when we got it going but an electric heater would help first thing in the morning.

A charming cottage in the centre of Sheffield, The Town of Murals

Great location close to everything. Good communication from owner and a beautiful warm fire was lit for our arrival. Undercover off street parking.

Excellent stay in convenient location

Liked the continental breakfast that was supplied Hosts very helpful when the smart TV outsmarted us Great automatic outside lighting for when returning in evening

The woodfired burner is lovely but it would be good to have an alternative form of heating eg electric heater for early mornings or brief periods when one is dropping in and out

Lovely cottage, lovely surroundings, quite different from the Sheffield we left in the uk

Breakfast was good , we also brought some of our own

just a lovely roomy little cottage with all the conveniences…..

very convenient location…..kitchen well set up with a continental breakfast and lots of other condiments…. didn’t need anything else…. just loved it…

couldn’t find a pillow I liked, so bought a new one and left it with them….. another choice for other guests….

Superb

Perfect location, cottage was spotless, had everything we needed for our stay. Sheffield is a beautiful town and Grace Cottage was the perfect spot to explore the district from.

Not a fan of google home which was at the front door.

Definitely recommend.

The cottage is like a warm hug. Every detail was kindly thought of for the traveller. It was very clean, has a fireplace ready to light, washing machine / dryer with laundry detergent, condiments in the pantry, and a packet of chocolate biscuits on the bench for us! The cottage is close to restaurants/cafes. Easy to park. It has views to beautiful mountains. We enjoyed our stay and are grateful for the host’s kindness.

Wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

Spotless as expected from the reviews. Loved every bit of the property and we had a very relaxing 3 nights. Well equipped kitchen with all necessary utensils, fully furnished living and dining and bedrooms. Breakfast hampers were really thoughtful. Located in a small town that has two grocery shops, a tavern, fuel station and a couple of cafes. If if are there do not miss the scallop pie at Bossimis.

We absolutely loved our stay at Grace Gottage and the beautiful town of Sheffield. Everything about the cottage was wonderful. The bowl of goodies on the counter was thoughtful and most welcome. The fireplace was toasty warm and inviting. Thank you so much for a most enjoyable stay..😄

Welcoming, comfortable, warm.

Breakfast & extra snack supplies were great. Plenty of room & nicely decorated. A nice spacious yard, close to the town centre but still quiet. Fire was cosy & easy to light. Everything we needed was there.

Perfect accommodation and location for trekking to Cradle mountain

The host was very easy to communicate with and so helpful when was looking at possible cancellation following one family member falling ill and not able to travel; and we were still working out how to manage the situation. The beds were super comfortable, the wood fire was easy to light and provided a warm and welcoming ambiance. We loved the continental breakfast too. Thank you:)

A little fan heater to warm up the house in the morning and first thing on arrival or when returning at night after trekking the wilderness might be a good extra touch.

Exceptional

Clean and welcoming with touches from home. There was a washing machine AND dryer which was fantastic. Lovely little breakfast, and great kitchen facilities. Excellent sized bedrooms to put suitcases on floor and still move around.

Nothing!! Could've just had a couple of fan heaters to take the chill off the air without putting the fire on.

Would definitely stay again!

The house was really lovely. Clean, cosy, well-decorated, very comfy bed and there was even toast and jam available for us. Great location too (we had a car).

Accommodation was very clean, comfortable and well set out. Beds were very comfortable. Plenty of firewood available to keep us toasty. Location was great. Highly recommended
