Si tratta di un appartamento con 1 camera da letto, 1 bagno e 5 camere da letto e 1.100 bagni situato sul retro dell'edificio annesso della nostra proprietà - completamente fuori dalle linee di vista per la nostra casa che si trova a circa 50 metri di distanza.
Abbiamo un laghetto con una cascata e un ponte per goderci entrambi. Goditi il pozzo del fuoco e l'altalena degli alberi, i sentieri e il campo aperto di 2 acri. C'è un campo da basket 1/2, forniture da spiaggia nell'armadio anteriore.
Il sud-ovest del Michigan è un bel posto in cui vivere!

We were just a group of friends wanting to ring in the new year together and this stay was awesome!! Mike was extremely helpful and the house had anything and everything we could need!! We will definitely be coming back

We visited The Shire for a mother-daughter weekend to celebrate our mom's 70th birthday. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect location and would love to come back sometime. The Shire is remarkably clean, the beds are very comfortable, and the space in general is very nice. Due to weather we weren't able to enjoy the outdoor activities, but the property is the precise definition of beautiful country living. This home is in close proximity to all of the shopping, dining, and recreation you could want. The hosts sent us a personal message prior to our arrival and made themselves available should we need any assistance. Thank you for opening your beautiful home to us. It was just perfect.

We enjoyed our stay at The Shire. The property is a beautiful and peaceful place to hang out. Coffee on the patio and walking to the vineyard was cool. We enjoyed beach views, shopping in St. Joes, silver beach pizza! A day at silver beach and playing games back at the house! Perfect getaway!!!

Spent thr weekend as part of a larger family gathering. Very pleased with the setting and privacy. It was spacious for the 4 of use. Kitchen is well stocked with cooking items. Loved feeding the fish.

We absolutely loved our time at the Shire. The home is very clean and the space was perfect for our family with two daughters. They loved playing on the basketball court and in the rec room and feeding the fish. The kitchen was easy to cook in and we appreciated the on-site laundry facilities. We enjoyed the easy access to all that Saint Joe has to offer and blueberry picking at bredeweg’s right down the road. Mike and Lisa were very helpful and easy to work with. We look forward to returning to the Shire in the future.

The Shire house was perfect for my husband, daughter, and me. The property was very clean and relaxing. Lots of fun games provided. Close to beaches and cute towns. We had a lot of fun!

Beautiful Property! Was clean. Mike answered all of our questions in a timely manner. After wine tasting at a few local wineries, we sat by the pond and were able to walk through a path that lead through the cornfields as well as grape vines! Kitchen was outfitted perfectly with seasoning for grilling. We would love to visit again in the near future!

My wife, 16 year old daughter and several of her friends and I had a wonderful visit at Shire! Very comfortable with all the amenities including full laundry. Adjacent huge rec room with ping pong table, beautiful grounds with a stocked pond and fire pit. Loved it! Looking forward to a return visit!

I recently stayed at Mike and Lisa’s place for a weekend with friends and we had a great time! It’s a beautiful property and a short drive to St. Joe’s. The place was clean, spacious and Mike was super friendly and responsive. Would definitely stay here again - highly recommend!

This was a wonderful property! Mike and Lisa are incredible hosts. We experienced rest and reflection for several days, and also enjoyed great food, cute shops and wine tasting nearby. We loved sitting by their pond and waterfall to read. The outside space was just perfect for outdoor breakfasts and lunches. We enjoyed a walking near the vineyard close by and a gorgeous hike through the dunes to see beautiful Lake Michigan (Thanks to Lisa for personally showing us where to go!). The apartment was clean and we had everything we needed. We could not recommend this place more!

The place is amazing! You have lots of room outside to to relax and spend time and plenty of space inside as well. Our kids loved the game room where they layed ping pong, running races, and checkers. They enjoyed basketball outside, swinging, making smores at the fire pit akd feeding the fish. It was nice relaxing on the back patio in the morning or in the evening and enjoying the peace and quiet. There was plenty of space for our family of 7 to sleep. The kitchen is stocked with all the supplies you need to cook meals and there is a grill outisde to use as well. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the area!

We stayed 3 nights at the Shire and the stay was fantastic! Mike was very easy to contact and responded well. The Shire has a lot of room and outside facilities are fantastic for kids. Kids can play outside, feed the fish, go for walk, play Basketball.
We will definitely stay again!

We loved the house we were able to stay in. Our kids had a great time with all the games around the property (basketball, ping-pong, bocce ball, and others. They really liked being able to explore the small pond and feed the fish.
Loved the small town feel of the area and being able to get away for a while.

We were visiting friends in W. MI and needed someplace close to stay. Ended up at this very clean & quaint house on a nice piece of property.
Even though we arrived late, the owners were very accommodating and communicated with us throughout our visit.

Place was nice, modern and clean. We enjoyed our stay. Heat was a bit odd, having to regulate each room, but figured out. Also, internet was out.

The peacefulness of this property is amazing! Close to anything you would need but far enough away to enjoy the quiet countryside. We look forward to renting again when we are in the area.

This is a great, very clean place with all the amenities you would need. It is just as pictured and includes a very large game room as an additional gathering space. Bonus! The grounds are vast and serene. The host is welcoming and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. This was my second time reserving this house and it will not be my last. Bring a fire stick if you want to watch your favorite apps. Or bring your favorite DVD’s. There is also a Redbox nearby and Tabor Hill wine tasting is super close as well. Thoroughly enjoyed the space, complimentary comfy beds, and location. Don’t hesitate to book it.

We enjoyed staying here while visiting family. Property was nice and comfortable.
Only concern was the home was very cold upon arrival and the back bedroom with twin beds remained cold throughout our stay(even using small space heater).

It was a very clean, cozy and private place for my girlfriends and I to relax and rejuvenate ! The listing is very accurate . Mike was super helpful with check in and answering questions and making sure we had everything we needed . I would stay there again and recommend to friends and family !

This place was amazing! Better than I had expected from listing. Host was great with the hospitality. Place was clean and ready to go even a few minutes earlier then check in time when we arrived. Secluded, private property was nice to be able to let kids roam around the yard. Will definitely stay here again if ever up that way.

We SO LOVED staying at The Shire!
Fully equipped, modern, cozy home in the woods, we so enjoyed hanging out with our friends indoors...complete with a spacious rec room with a ping pong table & games galore! We delighted in drinking a.m. coffee in adirondacks by the tranquil pond, with the gentle breezes and soothing waterfall.
Ultimately, however, our hosts, Mike and Lisa, made this a truly magical stay as they warmly greeted us and swapped stories of our lives.
We will forever treasure this gem of a memory maker -- you won't want to miss this beautiful place!

The place was wonderful clean comfortable and the "rumpus" room was great for the Grandkids to burn off energy. Feeding the fish was also a favorite for them. Thanx for the Hospitality we will be back next time we need to spend time in Berrien County.

What a fabulous visit! We did a family girl’s weekend and loved staying here. We felt very safe and went back and forth to St. Joe many times with ease. Only a 20 minute drive, pretty route. The property itself is beautiful! So many amenities, ultra clean, comfortable, cozy, and overall exceeded our expectations. Thank you for a lovely visit!

Another great week
Our family absolutely loves staying at The Shire. My kids petitioned to go back this year. You can’t beat the setting—it’s so peaceful and beautiful, but close to everything. Mike and Lisa are great hosts. We had a plumbing snafu while there (still sorry about that!) but they took care of it quickly, graciously, and with no disruption to our time there—though I’m sure it disrupted Mike’s day :). That was so appreciated. This year we had lazy mornings and quiet evenings. Highlights were blueberry picking at Bredeweg Acres, hiking the dunes at Warren, grabbing Silver Beach Pizza, and spending hours in the waves at Tiscoria Park. We love coming back from busy days to the little house tucked in the trees to play basketball and ping pong, listen to the birds, watch the sunset over the farm. I am sure we will be back.

A nice family stay!
We had a very nice time during our stay at The Shire! We felt it was a great median location to be able to go the St. Joseph’s area, as well as Warren Dunes. The property was exactly as described and had everything we needed! Mike welcomed us when we first arrived and showed us around. He was available if anything was needed. I would recommend this property.
