All reviews praising the amazing hospitality in this hotel are true - the welcome, and all days spent in their felt like we were members of the family, with lots of warm regard, kind attention and proactive support in every need. The hotel is walking distance from center of the city, but in the meantime it's in quiet residential part, so we had good air, peace of mind, and great sleep. The rooftop terrace offers beautiful view of the city, and fireplace below offers warm comfort of home. The breakfasts are beyond expectation with family food, local flavor, and highest quality local products.

It was clean and cozy. the breakfasts are 11/10. Roman and his mother are amazing people who make you feel welcome and appreciated. I travel quite a bit, but this is the only time I felt like I didn't pay enough. Recommend 10/10

Hospitability of the owner and his family. I arrived late evening and they invited me a little dinner. Also the breakfast was very homey, tasty mama-made pancakes and khachapuri. Assisted in getting taxi and local cash.

The hotel is well situated, the building is modern and well maintained. Roman and the staff have been more than welcoming and warming people. They were very kind and helpful with us, as we were part of their family. Each part of our stay was perfectly organized, for example the breakfast was always very good, copious and handmade. I recommend Roman and his hotel without any reserve. If we come back in Tbilisi we will reserve in Winoterra for sure!

Exeptional small hotel with open terrace overlooking old Tbilisi. We were impressed by hospitality of the owner of the hotel who takes care of every guest personally offering vine from small Georgian vineries , local quality food. We were even offered hot breakfast in 5.30 am, not the packed one, as we were leaving early! The stay was excellent and extended all our expectations.

the hospitality is absolutely amazing, especially from the owner. He did everything in his power to make sure that my trip to Tbilisi was amazing, even with the language barrier. the staff made my stay extra special, proudly showing off Georgian specialties and the owner personally shuttled me to the airport on arrival and departure at 2 in the morning both times. The care that they showed is second to none. The hotel itself is nice and cozy, it was a very comfortable stay. The hotel is located within all the highlights of the city. I’ve been to 30+ countries and stayed in countless hotels, it’s not an exaggeration to say that this is by far the best hotel experience I have ever had.

Everything was perfect. Location in the old city, we reached all important places on foot. The room had everything we needed, the staff was willing to help you any time. The room was cleaned daily. Roman is the head of the hotel, really a very nice person. His mother is a geniune cook, we cannot imagine better breakfast. We advice this family hotel definitely. Eva and Lubo, Slovakia

There is a reason this hotel is so well rated. Roman, his mother and Salome are so friendly and welcoming, they couldn't do enough for us. The welcome wine and food was so unexpected and such a good way to start our stay. The hotel is immaculate. The breakfast is the most amazing breakfast we have ever had. Thank you so much for an amazing stay. Keep doing what you are doing :)

We met Roman in the night (we checked in during the day and didn't meet him). He was nice and was trying to help despite the language barrier. He offered wine (politely refused as we had a few already during dinner outside) and was very attentive during breakfast.

Location - located in a very poor locale with narrow street. We read some reviews saying it is peaceful as it is away from hustle bustle. Truth is that the location is just cheap and shady. Room size: whatever you do don't book the 'double room'. It is absolutely tiny and right next to reception at ground floor. There were guests who checked in during the night and it was noisy. I understand that the owners can't do much about it. However, as a guest, please be aware of this and avoid booking this room type. The claimed view was garden view, we had a small window overlooking insulation pipes. False promise: Salome (who was very kind and helpful otherwise) promised us shortly after checking in that we can move to another room. But once we were ready to move, said it is reserved for another and not possible any more. Simply put - please don't promise something and go back on it. The least we could have expected is to offer us the option to pay extra and we would have done given how unhappy we were with the room. Language: The owners don't speak English which is a big challenge. This was a surprise as many past reviewers had said otherwise. Don't get me wrong, Roman & family are very nice and kind to speak to but if you don't speak Georgian, it will be a battle.

Breakfast was amazing, fit for a king. Roman and his staff went above and beyond to make you comfortable..home from home. Icing on the cake would be tea making facilities in your rooms..

Their hospitality is one of a kind! I have met amazing friends here and winoterra feels like a big family. I love the spirit of the people here and the life here. We took a tour to Kazbegi and had a great time there. We chatted, laughed, shared meals and had great conversations. Thank you to mom, Raman, and Salome who gave us the warmest welcome to my home in Tbilisi.

It’s a family managed hotel, they are very nice and kind people, the owner warmly welcomed us with a great dinner and was helping us across the whole stay They make a fresh delicious breakfast for each room based on their timing, their breakfast is the best

The owners were extremely welcoming. Made us feel at home. Offered us teas, coffee, wine and fruits on arrival. The hotel is boutique. Small, classy and compact. The Terrace is beautiful and so relaxing. The views of Old Tblisi breathtaking. The balcony of the bedroom was also lovely. The quality of the rooms, sheets etc... wonderful. It was the extras that set this place apart... the extra care and attentiveness... The friendly welcome and warm goodbye; two plump pillows each instead on one and nice quality toilet tissue. (You know you're in a looked after home when the toilet tissue is good quality ;) ) The breakfast was massive, all super fresh and home-made and extremely delicious. They don't use any pork either which was great for us. WiFi was free not paid. Of you're staying in Tblisi, I would recommend Hotel Winoterra in a heartbeat.

We loved this family-owned hotel and had the best time. The owner, his niece and his parents gave us the warmest and loveliest welcome in Georgia and let us feel at home! Their kindness was phenomenal. The hotel is nicely located, quiet area but still central and the best view on the rooftop-terrace over Tblisi. The breakfast is incredible, all made by La Mama. We can only recommend it to you all, especially because of the owner and his family but also its amenities and high quality standards.

This was the best hotel we have ever visited! The owner and his family took amazing care of us starting from the minute we have arrived. The property is in the heart of Tbilisi with the amazing view from the balcony and police station nearby. The room had everything we needed: comfortable bed, TV, table, chairs, wardrobe, safety box, conditioner. Everything was clean and neat. Super cozy and good value for money! Another thing worth mentioning is the breakfast served: so much food for two of us that couldn't eat it all and asked to pack to get with us when going for a ride/walk. The dining room has a piano and a chimney and is very pleasant to spend time in. We were worried traveling first time during corona, but the hotel provided masks, alchogel and even special dustbins for garbage of this kind. Super recommended!

Perfect! We travel quite some and stayed in various hotels and guest houses. This is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed. Room with nice design and decoration. Fantastic breakfast. Super friendly staff. Balcony and terrace with good view. Close to the old city especially the royal baths. Strongly recommend.

According to their feedback place was very comfortable in nice location, breakfast was delicious and large portions. Roman met them at Airport despite late night time of arrival.
