Petit bémol l'accueil ne se fait qu ' à partir de 17 h pour un départ à 10h le matin ça fait court pour une journée

Francois and Carole were exceptional hosts going out of their way to ensure we had all the information we needed. Phone calls to book restaurants and wine tours as well as providing us with maps and use of bikes with helmets and the reassurance of offer of assistance should we need. Altogether a wonderful place to spend time in beautiful Bordeaux amongst the vineyards, with the swimming pool as a great way to relax after a long bike ride. Breakfasts were delicious and enjoyed the way we were treated personally and our hosts took time to engage in conversation with us.
We loved having a meal on the first night, sharing it with other guests and the hosts , under the wonderful mulberry tree.
All was good.

Nice pool, decent breakfast without being exceptional. Room was big with great air con, the pool is excellent.
The room could have benefited from a sofa or comfortable chairs it was plenty big enough. Check in time is quite late so waiting to go to the accommodation is an issue.

Carole and Francois have got the perfect balance between an exceptionally well run chambre hôtes and not being overly intrusive. Breakfast outside under the mulberry maple, relaxing by the pool after a day out, wandering the grounds…all lovely. They have a fantastically well organised secure building for bikes - we had our own but you could borrow some if needed. You could make a hot drink in the dining room and store things in the fridge. Each morning Carole asked what our plans were for the day and helped with maps, routes, reservations. It really exceeded our expectations ….we hope they don’t change anything
