It was literally right next to the coastal path and beach. Great sea views. Very comfortable bed. Best sleep in ages.

Hotel and rooms are clean. Breakfast was very good, with a full vegetarian option. Younger staff members very friendly. Fully stocked bar at the pub downstairs. Nice bed linen and a good wee en suite bathroom with an electric shower. Although the other 3 rooms were occupied, it was very quiet on my mid week stay.
The room is IMHO, very overpriced. The Mattress should be changed : it is a saggy coil spring, not comfortable. The 'sea view' , well, first the flat roof, then the car park, then the railway line and then the sea. Disappointing but I believe there is one room where it is very good. I was in room 1, at the top of the stairs. Pub meal was very basic although perfectly enjoyable, a bit overpriced I thought.
