My husband and I spent 5 days in Heather's little cottage. We found Heather easy to work with, and pleasant to talk to, but not intrusive. Usually would find her out working in her beautiful garden. The cottage is right in the middle of town - easy walk to the Headlands, restaurants, shops, anywhere you want to go. The cottage is clean with all the basics - comfortable bed, small kitchenette, and bath with shower. We spent 5 days here and were very comfortable.

We loved the quiet and convenient location close to plenty of biking, hiking and kayaking. A short walk to restaurants or to the bluff to watch the sunset. Heather was the perfect host.

Our stay was just like the cabin was described in listing. Very nice, clean cute little cabin for two it was perfect for our getaway. Host was very nice introduced herself the 1st day took me to the cabin and we didn't see her the rest of our stay. The cabin had everything you need little fridge, coffee pot, microwave. The bed actually was very comfortable as well.

What a perfect way to experience Mendocino. The cozy cottage is in a great location, near miles of walking trails with spectacular ocean views Walkable to all restaurants and shops. The cottage is charming and equipped with all we needed, including a comfortable bed and great little porch for sipping morning coffee. Heather is so helpful and friendly and her garden is special. We will be back!

My wife and I enjoyed our stay. It was quiet and Heather was very hospitable. The location made it a short walk to restaurants and the theater. The kitchenette is compact, but workable, especially if you're planning to eat mostly in restaurants. I would recommend it.

If you want a relatively no frills, but completely comfortable place to stay that is ideally located within walking distance of Mendocino village, this is the place. In addition, you will be hard pressed to find a more beautiful, surrounding floral garden. Would stay again.

My wife and stayed in this cabin for a few days. The cabin is excellent for two people that would like to experience the cousins and local restaurants/bars, since there are no oven or stove. Heather is pleasant and helpful. The grounds/garden are gorgeous and full of flowers and plants. Location is ideal since the cabin is in the town of Mendocino.

My husband and I needed to go on a last minute get away, and this sweet cottage filled our cup! We loved the location and the lovely garden that surrounds the property. The price of the cottage beats any hotel in the area and the accommodations are perfect for two. Heather was a lovely host and a joy to meet.

The cottage was clean and cozy, and had everything we needed. It's location is right in town and close to everything, so you can just park your car and walk everywhere. Heather was a lovely host and took great care of us!

This was a cozy clean studio with a lovely garden and within walking distance of most everywhere we wanted to go in Medocino. The owner was very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable as well and and we enjoyed our stay.

Heather was great to work with and had a wonderful cottage. She greeted us upon arrival and made sure we were all set for our stay. We were able to walk all over downtown Mendocino and right to the ocean a few blocks down. We didn’t ever have to worry about parking which was a relief. Would definitely stay here again!

The cottage was perfect for my husband and I for the three nights we stayed. It was cozy and perfectly located. We walked to everything (restaurants and shopping) and make sure we had several walks along the coast. We will be back to Mendocino in general, and definitely would stay in Heathers cozy cottage again!

We enjoyed walking to everything - restaurants, shopping, groceries, and the beach! The cabin was spacious and very comfortable. Not set up to cook much in, but easy to warm stuff up in the microwave. Who wants to cook with such great restaurants nearby? Our host directed us to the lovely Mendocino Cafe for dinner, and the food was divine. We hope to be back !

My wife and I spent our 10-year anniversary in beautiful Mendocino. The town is a time capsule back to the early 1900's. Charming in every way. Friendly people, bustling pubs, live music, and great dining choices were plentiful! This studio is located 2 blocks from the ocean for a 5-minute walk overlooking majestic bluffs and rolling waves. Clean and cozy, this studio accommodates all your basic needs. The Landlord, Heather is most gracious and willing to advise places to visit and share history of the town. We so enjoyed our stay at Cozy Cottage. It was nestled amongst beautiful gardens. We could easily walk to town and the beautiful ocean views. The owner was very knowledgeable about the area and provided good info about restaurants nearby and beaches too! We would highly recommend this place to any couple/single who would like a safe, quiet, and peaceful getaway. We stayed 3 nights and didn't want to leave!!

This fabulous place was the key part of a wonderful Mendocino trip!! The cabin is lovely and had everything I needed, and a special chocolate treat, too! Heather was so kind and helpful, but not intrusive - just the right mix for me. She also has a beautiful garden that she tends to daily. The cabin is in a quiet part of town, steps from the beautiful Mendocino Headlands overlooking the ocean, and from downtown. It's within an easy drive of Fort Bragg, great restaurants, and places to walk and sightsee. I can barely WAIT to go back to stay there!
