Elim Bank Guest House

Lovely room, fantastic breakfast, short walk to the lake and restaurants. The owners were friendly and very welcoming. Parking on site.

The property hosts were so friendly and always available whenever we needed them. We absolutely loved our stay at this guest house! It was a gorgeous guest house, and the room was incredibly spacious and had everything we could possibly need. All the amenities were provided and there were even board games that we could pick up to play in our rooms :) The beds were extremely comfortable, making it so easy to relax and get a great night’s sleep. We also really appreciated how accommodating the hotel was with our late check-in time. It made our arrival so much easier and was greatly appreciated after a long train journey. The breakfast was another highlight of our stay. There was such a huge variety of food to choose from, and everything we tried was absolutely delicious. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and really enjoyed our stay. The comfort, spacious room, excellent amenities, and thoughtful service made it a wonderful experience. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again!

Breakfast was adequate. Landlady very nice.

Bathroom very small. Couldn't turn around. "Hand basin very small. Struggled to brush teeth or wash hands in it. General decor very "tired" wallpaper was smeared in wallpaper paste above bed.

Location was excellent, a 15 minute walk down to the lake and a 10 minute walk up to the village of Windermere. Good parking round the back. Decent sized dining room for breakfast. The owners were very nice.

We were in a small double which was adequate but the shower room was very small and although clean, could have done with some updating.
