Great location to river walk and free parking garage. Be aware that the house is located on a hill and can be challenging to walk up. I would not describe the house as modern but it accommodated our needs. Backyard was not maintained. I did not expect a grassy lawn but the three foot weeds were an eye sore. No

Our family (and our golden retriever) had a great long weekend trip to Estes Park. The house was very convenient and perfect for taking our dog along with us. Hosts were excellent to work and responded very quickly to all inquiries. We would gladly stay here again in any future to the area.

We had a relaxing stay here. Close to downtown, Estes Lake to walk our dog & the National Park.
Nice quiet neighborhood. It would be nice to have grass or artificial grass for the dogs to have an area to go potty. Our little one had to have the dirt/mud washed off her paws everytime we took her out so she wouldn't get the floors dirty. Bit inconvenient.
The beds are comfortable, but the chairs in the living room are small for anyone over 5'8. We enjoyed the hottub every evening after a long day in the Rockies.
Overall, a nice place to stay for the price.

Summer Vacation
The property was perfect for a summer vacation in Estes Park. The home was just as beautiful as the surrounding area! The property manager was quick with responses and my family wanted for nothing... other than a timeframe of when we would return. Very much recommend to anyone wanting to destress and remove themselves from the toils of everyday life. Gave us a moment to breath and take in all the beautiful views of the Rocky Mountains. The elk in front yard was a huge plus for my daughter. Thanks for the perfect place to stay.

I have to admit I was surprised at the size/space inside this rental. The square feet listed had me a little worried my family + 2 dogs would be crammed in here. But we weren’t! The pictures in the vbro listing don’t do the size justice! Both bedrooms are large with large windows to let in that crisp mountain air. The window cranks are old and stripped, but I managed to finagle them all open at night. There is no air conditioning, but we did not have any issues and we stayed in mid to late June. In fact my mother kept commenting on how nice and cool the place stayed. Both bedrooms have comfortable king beds! There is a pull out futon in the living room if you need the extra sleep space.
Our dogs had a blast playing in the fenced back yard! The fence is only about 4 feet so if you have a jumper be aware of this.
We saw herds of elk every day come through the yard and near the property. It’s in a neighborhood, on the side of steep the hill/street, yet there are many elk and deer all around.
The house is older and could use a makeover, but it gets the job done. If your looking for one of those luxury rentals with 360 Mountain View’s from the living room, this is not that, but it is close to downtown, the dog park, and hospital.
The kitchen was well stocked snd there were some leftover pantry items from other guests. The fridge took about 24 hours to get to temp, but once it did it worked great!
Overall I’d recommend this rental.

Very convenient to downtown. Great mountain views from the front porch. Elk in the backyard in the early mornings. The hot tub was great. My only negative is that the downstairs stays nice and cold, but the upstairs where the bedrooms are, doesn't seem to get very cold, even with the ceiling fans on.

Worth the trip
The pictures do not give this house justice. It is just adorable inside. Very comfortable, quiet neighborhood, only a couple minutes drive to downtown.

The hot tub was filthy and we were not able to get into it, very poorly maintained. The backyard was also very poorly maintained and didn't look like it had been cleaned up in quite a while. We were also disappointed that no coffee was provided even though there was a coffee maker and many, many filters. We hadn't planned on having to go shopping for coffee, we assumed this would be included. There were also no screens on the majority of the windows in the house, so we were unable to open them. This would have been nice as it was very warm the weekend we stayed. Finally, the fact that we were asked to do a load of laundry after we paid a hefty price to stay there and a cleaning fee was completely ridiculous! Do you not have cleaning people that come in to do this???? We did dump our own trash and did wash the dishes as requested. We just think that if you are going to charge the amount you do, then the property should be much better maintained and stocked with more basic necessities such as coffee. Thank you.

Overall, we were please with our stay. The VRBO was a bit old and had an old scent but it worked for our short stay. I was impressed with the spaciousness of the place - that was unexpected. It fit the 4 of us easily and was well stocked with things we needed. We were only disappointed with the backyard. Weeds were 2 ft high and had not been mowed in quite a while. We did not use the hot tub because the backyard was a mess. Otherwise, the house was good and location was good for what we needed.

This property was perfect for my husband, me, our two teenagers, and our dog to enjoy a long weekend! It’s conveniently located a mile from down town, but still felt like we were in a mountain getaway! The property manager was super responsive and helpful, and the cabin came with everything we needed from dishes, cookware, coffee maker, fireplace and firewood, hot tub, and a large washer and dryer for all of our stuff! We woke up every morning to deer in the backyard and a quiet neighborhood. We will definitely be back!

House was good. Hot tub needed water. Neec better toilet paper. Tissues would be nice amenity. Why the large cleaning fee if we have to clean ? Remote needs new batteries for dish. Had to call police on neighbors for loud music . Close to town. Easy to get too . Amazing view.

Who could blame her? Bedrooms were upstairs and very hot. Fans were noisy. No screens on most windows. Overall, property had all the amenities, but needs serious updating and maintenance. After one night, we left and came home two days early. Really spoiled our trip. Couldn't move to another space-because of the Scottish festival (the reason we came), most dog friendly places were already taken. Property management lady was super friendly but really should have known condition of property was not as advertised.

DIRTY PROPERTY
This property was very dirty, I found pieces of dog food on the floor when we checked in, clumps of pet hair on the floor, pet hair all over the furniture, sat on the futon with a pair of black pants on arrival and when I got up had pet hair all over my pants. If pets are going to be allowed at a property it should be cleaned very well between guests as I do not own a pet and don't appreciate coming to a property for what is supposed to be a relaxing vacation and need to spend several hours cleaning because it is so filthy. Not sure if the sheets were even washed between guests and towels washed since everything else was so filthy. Beds were uncomfortable, pictures of the property appeared nicer than it actually was. Location was good is about the only positive thing I have to say. Felt that it was way overpriced for what was offered. Would not recommend.

Great Location but Needs Updating
Suited our needs and location is good but needs updating. Beds were not comfortable & with no a/c wanted to open windows for a breeze but 1/2 didn’t have screens & the ones that did were broken.

Second stay
This had become or go-to spot in Estes Park during our annual visit there to grab our kid from camp. The house is a little wonky, but allows our dogs which is huge. It's always clean, easy to get into, and in a good location. Will hopefully be here again next summer!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely VRBO. It was exactly what your see in the photos. There was a great response time with the property manager and we were notified to check in as soon as the property was available. The accommodations we exactly as described and we were very comfortable. Very clean and neat!!!

Awesome House!
The house was very clean and inviting. Very well appointed with everything a couple or family would need for a comfortable stay. The fenced in yard was great for our pets. WIFI and satellite worked well which made my spouse happy. Very quiet neighborhood and close to everything at Estes. I highly recommend this property and would definitely stay again.

Nice cozy house
I thought this property was decent. Good location, you could walk downtown if you wanted to, I did. The property was clean and the beds were comfortable. I think there would be plenty of space for a family of four. It was only my boyfriend, myself and my dog. I did sleep in the 2nd room a couple of times to get plenty of rest. There are elk and also bear in the neighborhood and of course the hummingbirds. We used the hot tub which was really nice after a long day. The grill was a nice feature as well. The owner answers questions very quickly too!! I liked this property a lot.

We loved Estes Park
We enjoyed our stay. We’ll be back for sure. This home is pet friendly, however after each tenant furniture should be moved to remove as much pet hair from previous tenant. I clean for a living so I know my expectations are picky. Karen was fantastic at taking care of us during our stay.. would definitely stay here again. Loved the back yard

Enjoyed the wildlife visiting every day. Shower was not working upon arrival but contacted maintenance manager and he fixed on Monday.
Overall property needs a little love but very comfortable and dog friendly.

Great Estes Park Home
My wife and I recently stayed in this home for five nights while we enjoyed Estes Park and RMNP during snow season. Although not originally planned, our son and his girlfriend spent three evenings with us. Although the home is not large, both bedrooms are spacious and there was plenty of room for four people to be comfortable. Located 1/2 mile from the grocery store and 3/4 miles from downtown, access to the amenities of Estes Park was great while yet tucked away in a quiet residential area. Of course, RMNP and equipment rental shops were also convenient. We were fortunate enough to spend one day practically snowed in when the most beautiful, heavy 13" snow occurred. Having both a fireplace and a hot tub available made for a magical Rocky Mountain day! The property manager Karine provided timely and thorough communications. Highly recommended!
