This is really nice, comfortable property. We walked to everything - including the Appalachian Trail and the Hot Springs.
We couldn't get the fireplaces to work, and it would have been nice to have a pizza cutter. And these things didn't impact our enjoyment for our stay.

We had the best time staying here for our weekend in Hot Springs. The lovely cottage has clearly been cared for dearly -- we loved the location and felt right at home. The owners had so many personal touches. We loved the bookshelf full of games, cards, and books. We can't wait to come back for our next trip!

Overall, the place was perfect for two couples staying two nights for a wedding at Paint Rock Farm. The welcome party was a step away at Big Pillow Brewing - touted by a friend as being his favorite stop on the Appalachian Trail. The wedding hosts had a shuttle pick us up there for the wedding. The house is spacious - could easily have had two- three more people stay. Kitchen seemed more than adequate, but we ate out. Things to note: Quietest town after 10pm I have stayed in…except for the train right outside the window that blew its whistle in the middle of Friday night. Not Saturday. One bathroom is downstairs and a bit of a hike from the two upstairs bathroom. Since we were two couples staying in the two bedrooms, we opted to take showers in the two separate bathrooms. Also a strange step down and then up to the upstairs bathroom from one bedroom requiring extra care. Overall, a great place to stay. Could easily make a lovely week vacation.

We rented the cottage to have extra room for family to stay for our wedding at the Red Bridge Lodge next door. The house was super clean and cozy, and the hosts were amazing! Would definitely go back!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at thiis wonderful house. Well equpped in evey way. Sitting in the great backyard, right beside the river, is a relaxing treat. The house is laid out in such a comfortable fashion that 4 adults had ample room.

The resources available were like we were at home with one difference, we were on a beautiful little river in the middle of gorgeous mountains and right on the Appalachian Trail!!! Well, I guess that was three differences but we had a very memorable week and I am sure we will be back!! Thank you for having us.

Family rented house next door. So we had more than enough space to spread out, visit and cook a huge meal between the two houses. Everything you need is provided in the house. Wifi not reliable so come prepared to disconnect for your trip. Everything in walking distance, but come prepared with food if you have specific needs not much in town for groceries. Train can come at all hours of the day or night so be prepared to be startled but overall great location.

The cottage was absolutely amazing. It was so beautifully decorated and furnished so well. So relaxing and comfortable. The only regret that I have is you cannot check in until 4:00 and you have to check out by 10:00. So it makes your time short there. Other than that great stay

Cannot express how relaxing our stay was in this little gem! The cottage has a great yard, great location right next to the brewery, the stream in the back was so relaxing sitting in the chairs on the creek bank or around the fire pit.

We enjoyed our stayed very much! I would definitely return! The house was perfect, there was plenty of games and yard for the kids to play as well as adults. Everything was within walking distance and the town was cute and cozy. The property owner was very responsive and helpful as well. Highly recommend!!

This a Quaint little town nestled in the mountains. We were able to walk to anything we needed in town including the white rafting adventure. Which the boys absolutely loved. The cottage had a cozy home like feel. There is a little swimming creek behind the house that we used every day!! Trails to walk and historic houses everywhere. This is an off the grid experience unless at the house but that’s what it’s all about when you are truly vacationing. Loved everything about this house.

We love hot Springs, and this house and our stay was no exception. We love the backyard with the campfire, the sound of the river behind it. There’s plenty of stuff for our child and games to play for us. It’s within walking distance to everything in the house is nice and spacious. Super happy with our stay, and we will definitely be back!
