Un bellissimo paesaggio e un ampio parcheggio vi danno il benvenuto quando vi avvicinate alla casa. Un tavolo da picnic e 2 griglie a carbone integrate rendono piacevole cenare all'aperto. Ci sono sei ponti / portici per un totale di oltre 1650 piedi quadrati di spazio esterno. Rilassati su uno di questi ponti e goditi le viste gloriose sull'oceano e sul suono.
È facile ballare tutto il giorno in uno dei tanti rocker soundside in una splendida cornice mentre le barche passano sul suono. Se preferisci il ruggito rilassante dell'oceano, prendi qualche raggio sulle sedie a sdraio o ammira l'alba e prendi il tuo latte mattutino al tavolo da pranzo sui ponti sull'oceano. This spacious and well equipped ‘ home away from home ‘ provided everything our family was looking for such as immediate proximity to the beach, ample space to congregate, entertain, play games and dine. Too bad we were only able to spend a week!

Very comfortable beds and seating! Loved all of the outdoor seating and private spaces!! Kitchen had everything you could possibly need for all meals! We were ages 2-71 and we all had an amazing week! All I wanted for my birthday was to see dolphins and I did, the only day while we were there!! Great birthday dinner at High Water, educational visit to the Turtle hospital and yummy ice cream near the skating rink!!
So much to do at the house too, went to the pool twice, great walks, foosball games! Disappointed we didn’t know how to work arcade, probably operator error!! Beach is amazing and clean!!

13 adults and 2 kids had a wonderful time at the Flip Flop Inn! Lots of room for the entire family to gather, plus spots for individual private time as well. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need to make a great family meal. Huge TV, lots of games for downtime. The volleyball court was a great plus for our athletic family. We’re not big “fishers”, but it is a good place if you like to fish (with cleaning station), but could be overwhelming and intrusive (lots of fishermen) if you’re not. Overall, very nice stay and recommend!

The Flip Flop Inn was wonderful! We had 16 in total and had plenty of room for all. Our holiday was made more pleasant with the stocked kitchen, multiple appliances and a beautiful ocean front view. Seeing dolphins several times made it even more special. We loved the new deck furniture. Love the higher chairs. Perfect for the best views. And all was comfortable. The hot tub was also a big hit. The bedrooms were all very comfortable. The elevator was a life saver for those who can't do stairs and for transporting luggage, groceries, etc. The owners were so nice. We would definitely recommend Flip Flop Inn to everyone. Thank you for all your help and for being so friendly.

My family goes to the beach every year so we can all get together. (18 of us). This year by far was our best year together. The home is very comfortable, extremely well equipped, located just north of all the hubbub of downtown Surf City yet close to all restaurants. The beach is very typical of NC/SC beaches and has ample beach left at high tide. There is a beach service available that will take down and put up umbrellas daily. No finer folks to deal with than the owners of FlipFlop, Robert and Susan Franks. They truly work hard to make your vacation a memorable one and it definitely was.

My family had the great pleasure to spend a week at the Flip Flop Inn. There were 17 of us, from age 2 to 65. There were plenty of options to keep everyone relaxed and entertained. The beach is just steps away, very convenient in case you forgot anything, or just need a bathroom break or a snack. There also is a community pool which the kids did enjoy a few times.The house itself is just beautiful. I bet it is the biggest in the community. Plenty of space for everybody. And lots of patios, Oceanside and sound side. There also is a fourth floor tower room with 360 degree views. It even has a small outdoor walkway. It really is a stunning feature that few houses in the area seem to have. The kitchen was well appointed, multiple ovens and microwaves. It has all of the pots and pans and such to make anything you wish. Even a milkshake maker! It has a large modern fridge, and a separate ice maker which believe me is very useful. There also is a second fridge in the pantry area, also very useful. These are the kind of things that I didn't realize I should be looking for in a vacation rental, but I am glad the owners did. Speaking of the owners, they were extremely kind, pleasant, and easy to work with. You can tell they really care for their home, and it matters to them that you enjoy your stay.The bedrooms are very nice with comfortable beds. The bathrooms are modern, especially the showers. Additionally, there is an elevator, which is nice for bringing in luggage and groceries. There was plenty of parking. We had 6 cars, I bet we could has fit 2 more without issue. We had several outstanding sunrises and sunsets, a full moon over the ocean , and a sea turtle laid a nest of eggs in the dune right by the house. There are a lot of local restaurants, ice cream shops, and parks. Some in our group went sailboarding, there are surf lessons, and you can watch the kids surfing down by the pier.The beach by the house was active, but never crowded or intrusive. Everything was fantastic, I had high expectations, and they were met or exceeded in every way.**** I very highly recommend this beautiful home. ****(I believe the owners also own the house next door if you have an even larger group. Perfection at the Beach
We used Flip Flop Inn for a family reunion and had 6 couples staying there. The house was perfect. Each couple had their own bedroom and bathroom, which was perfect. The main living area was large enough and open enough to allow everyone to gather together and watch TV, read, cook, work on puzzles, or chat. Everyone could do what they wanted while still being a part of the group and interacting with each other.
The bedrooms are large and well appointed. The kitchen is so well stocked with dishes, glasses, pots and pans, flatware. There are two dishwashers that made keeping up with 12 hungry people a breeze. The views are wonderful. Each balcony has it's own special view of either the ocean or the waterway. There is a spacious hot tub that got much use. The access to the beach is so close that it takes about a minute to be there. And don't worry about bringing beach chairs, they have plenty. And if you need some away time from the group, the upper floor room is perfect for movie night, reading or taking a nap. We had the opportunity to be at Flip Flop during the eclipse and the balcony off the upper floor loft area was the perfect viewing area. Even with all the rain we had (we did get two great days of sun) it was a wonderful experience for all of us. We had fun hanging out talking and eating and doing a couple of the many puzzles you can find in the house. I can't recommend this place enough! Thank you Bob and Susan for making your beautiful home available.

Best house EVER!
Bob and Susan have thought of everything. This house is amazing and we are having a wonderful time. We don't want to leave! Kitchen is so well stocked that our gourmet cooks have been in heaven. We have four generations here and all can't stop talking about this wonderful vacation. We will definitely be back!

Amazing house in North Topsail Beach
We rented this property for our family (12 guests ranging from 2 to 69 years of age) and we could not have been happier with our experience. Sue and Bob were available to help, responsive to our questions, and accommodating in every way, from initial email contact through the completion of our stay in their home.
They have literally thought of everything in this home. The kitchen is well stocked - everything you need is there, and it's well organized so that you can find what you're looking for easily. We "only" had 12 in our party, but this home would accommodate numbers well into the twenties with the available silverware, plates, bowls, glassware, etc.
The views are wonderful - wonderful from almost every room in the home. You can see the ocean right in front of you, and the quiet water and marshland is viewable from the other side of the home. The top floor widow's peak is amazing and a fun place to spend time.
Everything in the home is spotlessly clean, and the bedding, furniture, etc are very comfortable and in excellent condition.
We had one of our best vacations at the Flip Flop Inn, and we would recommend it without hesitation. Thanks, Susan and Bob, for a wonderful week!

We love the flip flop!
This is our second time staying at the Flip Flop Inn. We really love this house. The primary disadvantage is the walk around the other property to the beach, but it was worth it to have the large bedrooms, the great views, the personal touches that this home has. We all feel like this is the house that we would buy and decorate if we had our own beach home.
There's plenty of parking, the house is well maintained, there are more than enough diversions (tv, video games, toys, books, beach accessories) and we had a great time.

Can't compare to Outer Banks
This was our first rental in Top Sail, previously we have rented in the Outer Banks. Water here was warmer and there was less traffic. Unfortunately you could not sit on the beach at high tide. Our bedroom was so small that we had to store our empty suitcases in our car. Limited storage space throughout the house - most cabinets were filled with games and / or puzzles and closet space was minimal. Our family loves to cook but the kitchen was over stocked with many items and lacking with others. The park-like grills behind the house were useless in the wind - we had to buy a grill at Walmart with a cover. There is no direct access to the kitchen after you grill dinner. You either have to walk up one flight and walk through someone's bedroom or walk to the front of the house and walk up 2 flights or take the elevator with your food. The dining area was crowded with 3 small tables instead of 1 large one. Would not use this rental in the future.

Fabulous Beach Getaway for a large family!
This property delivered on everything promised. It is the perfect place for a large group with a variety of ages....there were 18 of us from 7 months to 70 years and this home provided lovely views, easily accessible beach, beach equipment, and a fully equipped kitchen. We spent most evenings on the lovely porches that surround the house enjoying a glass of wine, wonderful views and good conversation. Susan and Bob provided all the information anyone could need going to an area they had never been before, and they were very responsive to any inquiries we had before and during our visit. While we did tour around Surf City, and the information packet we received had a plethora of information about restaurants and things to do in the area, most of our group didn't want to leave the house, ocean and pool! We would recommend that you take a couple of hours to visit the Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rescue and Rehabilitation Center....the line is always long, but worth the wait to see the work the volunteers are doing there. I assure you if you choose this property for your visit to Topsail, you won't be disappointed.

This the third year that we have had the privilege to spend a week in this fabulous home!!
There are 16 of us --- parents, adult kids & grandkids!! Our family loves this house -- we are never ready to leave at the end of our week. I highly recommend the Flip Flop Inn. My family of 15 (8 adults and 7 children) met for a family reunion. The beach house is exactly as pictured. It is very well maintained, clean and comfortable. None of the family ever felt crowded...big great room area, well-equipped kitchen, multiple decks for relaxing, reading, etc. Everything you need for an enjoyable stay is here...even great beach chairs and toys for children. Pool is just a short walk away. It was very easy to communicate with Susan,owner, and she provided a lot of good information. We did use JandS (Jeff and Sue) Custom Creations for family pictures. They were terrific and so easy to work with....call early for an appointment as they are very busy. I just can't say enough about the Flip Flop Inn.....except I/we can't wait to return someday.....worth every penny!

Wonderful House
The house is gorgeous and well maintained, the views from just about everywhere in it were so relaxing! This house was perfect for our group, all adults got a 'grown up' room; the teenagers had their privacy and the school agers were loving the foose-ball table.
The amenities covered just about all of our needs, when we had issues the management company was responsive and accomodating. The owner was patient whenever we spoke, she was just fantastic to converse with.
The beach was not at all crowded, and fairly clean as well! One of our party actually burst into tears when we were getting ready to depart, everyone was totally thrilled with the house. Sadly, I was unable to keep my booking for next year due to unforseen constraints - but I would most definitely love to come back for 2015!

Exceeded Our Expectations!
We stayed at the Flip Flop Inn the week of July 4, 2013, for a celebration/family reunion. There were 14 in our party ranging in age from 5 to 89, four generations. The pictures and description on the website were accurate and, if anything, did not do full justice to this wonderful home. The home is furnished with everything anyone could want. We found it to be extremely clean and in very good repair. The common living space was perfect for meals together and general visiting among folks who don't get to see each other very often. Several guests commented on how comfortable our beds were.
The beach was clean and uncrowded, even during this holiday week, and was just a few steps from our door. There were decks on multiple levels, front and back, which we enjoyed throughout the week and especially on the 3rd and 4th when there were spectacular fireworks shows in almost every direction.
Oh, and there is an elevator that our matriarch especially appreciated.
The owners could not have been more helpful with general information about the home as well as restaurant recommendations and information about area attractions.
We give the Flip Flop Inn our highest recommendation!

The Flip Flop Inn is the real deal.
We have stayed on Topsail Island many times beginning in the 1960's, but never before in a house like this. From the ground floor, where we loaded our heavy items into the elevator, to the 5th floor loft, with its great view of the island, sound, and beach, this house more than met our expectations. The quality of the infrastructure and furnishings is excellent. The owners offer detailed information on use of the appliances and other ammenities, local attractions, and obtaining assistance and information while on the island. A local property manager is easy to contact and knowledgable. Everything was in excellent condition. For a large group (we had 15: 8 adults and 7 children), this is the best house we have ever found on Topsail Island.

Hord Spring Break
The Flip Flop Inn was great!!! The common areas were all comfortable. The kitchen was well eqipped. The outdoor areas were abundant and awesome! The bedrooms were all comfortable and great places to slip away to , when quiet time was needed. The elevator was helpful for our old dog, and for easy loading. The views were also wonderful. There wasn't anything dissappointing except the weather , but the house made up for the cold! Really good! Enjoy!
