Breakfast was excellent. The on-site restaurant serves decent Scottish pub food, but with a great view and a really nice, efficient team of waiters. The room was decent and modern and with a sea view.
This is basically a caravan park with an associated hotel and weddings trade. The price was ridiculously high for a motel experience. The free wifi was poor; cut off after a few hours, and the logon page (captive portal) was confusing and prone to fail. Meanwhile the hotel insists on a £100 paid deposit, in addition to prepaid room charges, in case you destroy the room - which appears to happen frequently.

the swimming pool was closed for refurbishment, however we noticed several children and adults swimming in the pool

Overall lovely place, food fine, staff very nice. A bit too expensive for so far out. If you have no transport your stuck. Pool wasn't opened a for the 3 days, kids missed out, and no discount or even a complimentary dinner or even drink for the pool not being open.
The outside could do with a cleaning, it was a bit unkept on the grounds.

Rooms, food, bar and service.
Room had a shower over bath which we didn't expect, presumed we would get a walk-in shower. However we managed but will ensure I ask for walk-in shower next time.

Nice dining room and dinner.
Staff were very helpful and smart.
Breakfast was delicious.
Mattresses were uncomfortable. Very thin. Not good quality bed, pillows, linen and soft furnishings.
Informed staff after stay regarding mattresses as we knew hotel was full.
We were in Premier Deluxe room with sea view! Garden needing to be cut back to allow better view of sea.
Only 2 tables on patio for 3 rooms.

Friendly staff starting with reception and all the way to the serving staff in the restaurant. My partner has food intolerances and when mentioned to the serving staff both at dinner and breakfast they could not have been more understanding or helpful.
Lovely room with great views of Edinburgh in the distance and of course the Firth of Forth.

Stayed in the executive family suite for my birthday with my kids and my mum. Amazing large clean room with an upstairs bedroom. Large balcony with great sea views.
The swimming pool changing area wasn’t clean and it was very busy to try and get a changing room etc.
didn’t feel that there should have been a charge for the small softplay.

Breakfast was beautiful, would highly recommend it.
It is very misleading on your website, does not state the hotel is next to a caravan site thought we were coming to a quite hotel to use the facilities, but instead it was over run. Very misleading.

All staff, from hospitality and entertainment were extremely professional and friendly. Reception staff were exceptional. Breakfast was really good, but would have liked if a continental choice was also available. Lovely warm pool. Room very comfortable and relaxing with beautiful view. Pettycur beach with it's lovely white sand was spotless. It even had a nice young council operative, litter picking whilst we were there.
Water features in the pool not working, zip slide inoperable and some of the machines in the arcade were out of order. Would have thought that everything would have been fully functioning for the start of the holiday season. Shower in room not the greatest, shower wand would be much better.

The room was big enough with all we could need. Nice view.
Staff was fantastic.
It was a shame the patio outside the room as well as the flower beds were full of butts. Clients fault but still it should be cleaned on a daily basis.

The food was lovely
There were cobwebs in the room and for the price wasn't much different to a travelodge, just a huge price difference.
Disappointed . Our window looked out onto a brick wall .
Previously stayed here and got a sea view when I asked if we could change rooms. we were told they had all been booked up . I am very disappointed to find cobwebs on the wall and in 3 corners of the room and the basic Ness of the room and view has put us off staying again

Great sea view room. Easy book in process. Room had up and down stairs. Large area downstairs to relax, comfy couch, nice balcony, bit close to next door but great views. Steep stairs to bed so wouldn't suit everyone but comfy bed and and another TV plus a great view again. Direct access to leisure complex and restaurant. Good prices and food. Great breakfast in morning. Will book again.
Nothing bad.

Breakfast was good
2 single beds put together very uncomfortable, a room very small, the sea view was virtually non existent.
3.0
Staff were friendly and the room was clean.
Bed was extremely uncomfortable, thin and hard mattress which had seen better days.
The lights in the room were awful as there was only small spotlights which isn’t great for applying make up etc.
Given this was an executive suite I was very disappointed in the level of comfort and general poor decor. The views are phenomenal but unfortunately we wouldn’t opt to stay here again.
Despite specifically booking the option to pay at resort, I received numerous messages and emails asking me to pay via an online link to “speed up the check in process”, given we had booked for a wet Thursday evening in January, the reception was unsurprisingly extremely quiet when we arrived so I’m unsure why there was so much unnecessary messaging for early payment.

Views from our room were good!
Nice breakfast
The hotel is generally a bit tired. Beds could be doing with renewed as a bit uncomfortable.
Our room was by no means delux.
The biggest negative was the unfriendly staff we encountered.
My friend is partially blind, the hotel were informed of her disability before we arrived, they put us in room 128 were the staircase was ill lit. No lift available for this floor. We struggled with our luggage and the dark lit staircase. My suitcase handle would not release and I this was very annoying. We managed and laughed this off as we always do as we have had similar experiences when on other holidays.
We booked into the hotel resturant. At around 8.05pm we were called by restaurant staff, we advised we were on our way, we thought this was odd as we didn't request an alarm/reminder call. All was to be revealed!
A young woman greeted us and before taking our food order advised that the restaurant would not be serving us any alcohol. We asked for the manager, a 22 year old young man spoke to us like we were stupid and advised he had sources and felt for our own health and safety we should not be served alcohol, we are both proffessional woman in our 50's and 60's we were not intoxicated but merely enjoying ourselves, we had a couple of glasses of wine, (thought that was holidays were all about) he stated he been informed and he had sources that we had too much to drink.
We refused to eat in the restaurant and just sat in the bar with Tea/ coffee and water, we didn't want to give any business to this place. The place was now empty and they clearly wanted us away even though we were quietly chatting. We were told they were closing and we should go to our room in a robotic manner by the same young man who had humiliated us earlier.
The next day we asked for the general manager who was unavailable so I called and spoke to her later, she later told us that she agreed with the decision.
