Nice clean room with a small balcony, and a bigger common terrace in the back of the house. I liked the neighbourhood which was not as touristy as the town Center, it felt very “local” staying there. The hosts were very nice!

Bathroom floor could have been a little cleaner and sometimes ran out of toilet paper or soap.

Great host, great accommodation, very comfortable bed. The house it’s always very clean and tidy. Both hosts were excellent, polite and always available to help the guests needs. Great location, walking distance to 2 supermarkets, coffee shops and bus stops. Not too far from city center, you can easily walk to central Lagos and come back in less than 15 min. (Each trip) I highly recommend!!!!! I will absolutely come back.

It was a little bit out of town but still within a good proximity by walking. Maybe about 20 or so minutes on a flat walk which was fine by me. There was easy parking and on a dead end road so it was very quiet which was a nice change after staying in noisy Lisbon. The room was big and spacious which was nice and the place had all the facilities you need including cooking utensils. The apartment only had a total of 3 rooms so the shared bathroom was very manageable. The aircon and wifi worked great which was a huge plus.

The first thing we noticed about the place was the smell. It smelt like the floors were mopped by very dirty mop. The overall mustiness of the smell didn’t really leave the whole time we were there. You could tell things were ‘cleaned’, but not very well. The rugs on the floors were simply mopped around them and looked like they’ve never been washed, including the rug in our room which had hair stuck to it. Corners of the room were neglected and dusty with dirt and hair (especially around the clothes rack), indicating that the rooms are quickly swept over rather than properly vacuumed. It was the same in the bathroom too. However, I have stayed in far dirtier rooms so this property was passable in comparison. We did, however, buy a scent diffuser for our room which helped a lot. The fridge was also very full and a lot of it was with mouldy food - a bag of shredded cheese, vegetables, half eaten pre-made salad. I honestly just tossed these as it was obvious no one else was. They then sat in the kitchen bin the whole time which was not changed once in our 3 night stay and it stunk! The only other thing was that our neighbours in the room next to us complained that their aircon stopped working, and the resolution was to give them our remote without consulting us. We came back one day to see that the remotes had been swapped out and lo and behold, that remote did not work for us either. So we had to message the property to get the original remote back. Luckily it was a quick fix but an odd experience.
