Beautiful hotel in a very central location. Excellent breakfast with lovely outside sitting area. Very comfortable communal sitting area. Daniele was extremely helpful and hospitable, making our stay a pleasure.

La Madison is a gorgeous boutique property ideally located on the pedestrian street, Via Roma, which is lined with shops and restaurants. The rooms are a beautiful mix of old and modern and are extremely comfortable. The manager, Daniele, was extremely accommodating, arranging for parking and helping us with our heavy luggage. We would stay in La Maison again in a heartbeat.

La Maison is one of the nicest hotels I’ve ever said at. My wife and I were on our honeymoon and the hotel was perfect. Daniele is a great host and I couldn’t recommend this location enough.

I cannot really add significantly to the already glowing reports on this hotel. Great breakfast, and perfect location for visiting the old city, a short walk down via Roma from where the taxi will drop you. We had a great 3 day vacation there.

Perfect location right in the center of Ortigia. Our room was just gorgeous and spacious and the ambiance was impecable. Breakfast in the terrace was also lovely as well as the staff. This was our favorite place in our 2 week trip around Sicily.

Breakfast was excellent, and Daniele and his colleagues went out of their way to be helpful. It is very well located.

The only thing for us older travellers was the lack of a lift/elevator. But Daniele also helped with luggage, so not much of a problem.

Beautiful Hotel in a perfect location with great staff and a good breakfast served every morning on the roof. What more can you ask for.

Everything was simply fantastic! the location right on one of the main streets it Ortigia, the room classic and modern at the same time, the excellent service, the super cute patio where they serve breakfast, even the super high quality Ortigia soaps! Couldn’t have asked for a better stay in Ortigia! Daniele is a wonderful host and he made our stay even more pleasant and enjoyable! we can’t wait to come back soon again!

Initially we stayed in a room that was further away from the livingroom and didn’t have wifi, but once we moved to a bedroom close to the living room the signal was perfect. Daniele was extremely kind in accommodating our needs and made sure we had a perfect stay.

The property is very elegantly decorated - the owner has impeccable taste !! This is a perfectly refurbished home from the 1800s. The location is in the middle of everything yet super quiet ! The Best part of this B& B is Anna the lovely friendly and knowledgeable local lady who works for La Maison, checked us in and then took care of most matters. She is a pure gem of a person!! She truly cared for us and our stay!!! She made excellent recommendations and just made the whole Ortigia experience so perfect that we extended from 1 night to 4 in a row ! We booked one of the smallest rooms and still, it was very comfortable as well as the bathroom. The amenities smell wonderful ! The common rooms where you can sit and have breakfast are super nice, as is their champagne and wine bar called “La Societé” downstairs (be sure to book a table as they only have a few and it’s “the place to be”. ) ... perfect place ! We would stay again !
