Perfect pension to explore the city, beach, and restaurants.

Perfectly situated in the middle of Old Town. Lena is friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Ταξίδι στο χρόνο γεμάτο ρομαντικές νότες.

Το ταξίδι μας ήταν για την επέτειο των 24 χρόνων του γάμου μας. Το κτίριο είναι μέσα στα σοκάκια της παλιάς πόλης, όλα είναι μέσα στα πόδια σου, επιβλητικό και φτιαγμένο από άλλη εποχή. Τα δωμάτια άνετα, καθαρά και διακοσμημένα με μεράκι. Η κυρία Λένα η οικοδέσποινα απίστευτος άνθρωπος, γεμάτη καλοσύνη, με το γέλιο της στα χείλη και ευχάριστη να μας εξυπηρετήσει σε ότι θέλαμε. Το πρωινό το ετοιμάζει την ώρα που της έχουμε πει από την προηγούμενη μέρα ώστε να είναι ζεστό και φρέσκο. Ότι μας σέρβιρε ήταν νόστιμο και κάποια από αυτά φτιαγμένα από τα χεράκια της. Ευχαριστούμε για το υπέροχο ταξίδι μας.

Perfect and lovely stay in a cute place

I liked everything. Both women are lovely. The room was just perfect. Breakfast was incredible. The location is excelent, at a stone’s throw of the bus station, in the old city centre and, important, you don’t have to go up any stairs to get there with your luggage. In addition, there are many excursions to tale by bus or on foot. Nafplio is a hidden gem. If I go back there, I’ll repeat for sure. Thanks for everything. I’m the Spanish girl taking a course there.

Jolie ville…pension agréable…près du site d’Epidaure

Jolie maison….bien située, chambre petite mais calme avec vue sur les toits…. Bon petit déjeuner dans la cour…

Pas évident si vous êtes âgés avec des gros bagages de monter dans les étages….. Pas d’accueil….

Bonne étape au coeur de la vieille ville; bon rapport qualité prix

Pension de famille avec beaucoup de charme au coeur de la vieille ville . Petit déjeuner extra, dans la cour extérieure. Propriétaire charmante.

Special place

Fantastic location just a short walk from the main square and marina. Lena who manages the hotel is lovely. She made us feel so welcome and she is very knowledgeable of the local area. She is ably assisted by her colleagues Martha and Georgia. Breakfast, served in the lovely garden was really tasty and varied from day to day. The hotel itself is an historic building with lovely character features. I really cant recommend this place highly enough. We fell in love with Nafplio and we will be back at Rigas next year. Thanks Lena and your team for an unforgettable stay. Simon and Florica

Lovely pension with walking access to beach, restaurants, shopping and sites.

The quaint building is filled with history. Lots of stairs, but that is true for most of Nafplio. Breakfast was served in a charming courtyard filled with lung greenery and a fountain. Breakfast was more than we could eat and delicious. Nora was so friendly serving breakfast and Lena was a gracious hostess filled with information.

Parking was a bit far as we arrived on a busy Sat evening but was manageable. The benefit was that the hotel was fairly quiet even on the weekend as it was removed from the busiest streets.

Excellent

This is a charming old building in an excellent location, on a quiet side street in the middle of the old town. We’ve stayed here before so we knew what to expect. The double rooms are comfortable but quite small, however everything worked well and we had a small balcony to sit out on. Lena our host was as ebullient as ever, and provides an interesting and substantial breakfast which is usually served in the shady garden. We were somewhat outfaced by the quantity and Lena kindly put the excess in a bag for us, so we got a free lunch each day!

The nature of the building means there are quite a few steps to negotiate, and parking is some distance away - however that was no problem for us.

Loved our stay in Nafplio. Hardest thing to do is to select a restaurant as they are all so good. We got the hop on hop

Absolutely fabulous position in the old town of Nafplio. Breakfast and hospitality was great. Rooms were cute and good value parking free down by the port.

Bed was a little small for the two of us I would book room with larger bed next time.

A lovely night in a charming place.

It’s a really charming place, with the modern necessities-air conditioning! But Lena is probably the best thing. We met her at breakfast and she was so welcoming and charming- and the breakfast was just amazing! Also- she packed up our pastries for “a picnic”, which turned out to be prescient- as we ended up getting stranded on the highway for 6 hours after a gas tanker accident! Lovely stay. Comfortable beds, good A/C and water pressure and temperature. And right on a quiet street in The center of Old Town.

There are a lot of stairs, so people with mobility issues would have a hard time. We were fine, though.

Weekend escape in Nafplio.

The traditional design with the stone was making feel you were somewhere else in time. You cannot find this easily. Taking our breakfast in the beautiful hidden garden.

Bed was short for even a normal height person.

Very comfortable, attractive place in really good location.

A beautifully restored old house in old town, centrally located. Gorgeous garden where we had a tasty breakfast. Owner is very warm and friendly and her staff were also really nice. Air con was very effective.

Superb

If you're looking for a charming hostel, where the owners give you a warm welcome, then you've come to the right place. The location is perfect, the breakfast was very good. We had a bit of a Mama Mia feeling here, very nice. We recommend it!

The host, Lena, was a delight and the property was in a great location in Old Town.

Lena, the main host, was an absolute delight. They made us a beautiful spread for breakfast that exceeded what we expected. The courtyard was serene and peaceful for eating our breakfast as well, with a little waterfall on the back wall. Being right in Old Town was convenient for walking to shops, cafes, and restaurants.

The room was quite bright and maybe could have used darker blinds over the shutters. There wasn't a lot of space in the rooms with the large wooden hanging rack, so a bit tight for longer stays.

A Cute Place To Stay

It is a fabulous place to stay in a great location. Was clean and very cute. The host was very welcoming, friendly and accommodating. We only had time for one night here, but we would highly recommend it and wished we could stay longer. It was very comfortable.

Friendly, charming central hotel in the heat of Nafplio with lovely garden for breakfast

Rigas Pension Nafplio is situated in a beautiful part of the old city close to restaurants, cafes and the sea. The room was lovely with a blacony/terrace and the garden was perfect for breakfast. Owner/staff were very firendly and hopeful.

Exelent place and persons in a very center of Naflion, and the best breakfast!

Location is perfect, in quiet street just around the corner of Naflion old town main square. Beautiful old house, with stone walls, wooden staircases, nice old furniture, house full of spirit! And of course, beautiful garden with delicious breakfast made by our very friendly host. You cant imagine better start of a day!

Authentic, friendly place in the middle of the town with amazing breakfast

Fantastic historical building, friendly and also simple. Very clean and well-equipped room and bathroom. Amazingly tasy and lovely big breakfast served super nicely! Located in the town center but still quiet and has a view to the castle.

Someone may find the bathroom small or dislike the many steirs but it is common for the whole town.

Enjoyable but far too short!

The first-floor room had two balconies and a separate window over the alley in which Greece's first Governor/Prime Minister was assassinated. It was one street back from the main square, which meant it wasn't too loud but had the advantage of proximity to everything. Our hostess is also a marvellous and inspired cook, producing delicious and nutritious breakfasts to a formula all her own.

The bathroom was not well-designed and there was nowhere to put anything.

I absolutely LOVED staying here. I would come back and stay again because everything was perfect. The room was so cozy, nice view. The breakfast was delicious. The host is so nice! No issues whatsoever

Beautiful stay with balcony, views, and breakfast in the heart of old town Nafplio

We booked 4/6 rooms with 7 people so occupied most of the pension. The rooms were small but contained everything that we needed. We enjoyed the old architecture that made Rigas so unique. Lena was very responsive and friendly to chat with in the mornings. The location was excellent, it was quiet at night even though we were in the heart of the old town. The staff and breakfast service were an additional amenity that set the experience apart.
