The place is clean and well organised, the staff are very pleasant, and the service is good. Our room and bathroom were clean, and both dinner and breakfast were included in the tariff. Both meals were wholesome, tasty and generous.
The highlight was the morning tea, complimentary if ordered between 6 and 7 am—exactly our usual time for chai. We opened the balcony door and stepped outside with our cups to an absolutely fabulous view of the grand heritage building beside us. We looked it up and it is the magnificent Amarchand Mansion, built in 1903, with ornate arches, carved stonework and floral details. To step outside with our morning chai and have this magnificent piece of old Bombay right beside us was an absolute treat, and a truly wonderful start to the day.
The best thing about this place is its wonderful location: right in the heart of South Mumbai, close to the Gateway of India, Kala Ghoda, museums, galleries and some of the city’s most beautiful streets and buildings.

We had a very good stay at YWCA International Centre. The staff were welcoming and helpful, especially the team in the dining area. They were warm and attentive every time we went for a meal, and made us feel genuinely welcome.

Lovely spacious room. Simple food but plenty of it.
A few more healthy offerings on the menu would be wonderful.
