Fishing Cove è una casa per famiglie a sei bagni completamente arredata con otto camere da letto, nascosta in una rigogliosa pineta. La nostra casa vacanza sul lungomare si trova in una baia molto privata con 2 acri di proprietà sul lungomare e un grande molo privato e 3 scivoli in barca. Facile accesso in auto o in barca dalla baia di Chesapeake.
Bevi il tuo caffè mattutino sul nostro ponte 12 'x 72' guardando gli uccelli e i cervi. Pesce e granchio dal nostro molo. Nuota nella nostra piscina. Property was a great place for a family gathering with plenty of space. What I did not notice was the beds had no sheets on them, I was frustrated at first but felt it may be because they wanted them to be fresh. There were dead stink bugs in the bathrooms (but it is the country side) so I was not upset, I just swept them up and threw then away. The kitchen has tiny black ants, so you will have to make sure to keep counter clean and leave no food out over night. The house was a beautiful setting with a really nice view of the water and the dock worked, we rented a boat for the stay and overall I was really happy with the property. Just maybe needs a thorough cleaning of windows and I used a 50/50 solution of water and vinegar each day to cut the ants back. But well worth the money and it felt like I was a grandparents home for the summer!

What a wonderful property for big families. We had family members from four states, ranging in age from 3-93, for Thanksgiving. The kitchen was well equipped. We had everything we needed to make four pies, a 22-pound turkey and all the fixings.Our host was pleasant and easy to work with. Very quick communications and so accommodating.I have rented many VRBO a homes, and after my experiences I come to appreciate a well-organized, professional host. We highly recommend this place.

This was an absolutely perfect option for celebrating my mom’s birthday. She and my dad are older and have accessibility needs, so having first floor living and bedrooms, plus an elevator up to the main floor from the driveway, made this trip possible. The location is stunning, with a view of the water from most of the house, gorgeous forest providing privacy, and everything was clean and very well maintained. Our dog was incredibly happy to explore the yard and dock, and we were grateful to be able to bring her along. The host was attentive and quickly responded to any questions (we couldn’t find the elevator key when we first arrived, and she helped us within a matter of minutes!) We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this space to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with either older family members or a larger gathering (we had a smaller group but easily could have fit twice as many guests!) Thanks so much for such a wonderful experience.

I wanted to give this a four star rating but there are a few shortcomings with this property. The positives are the owner is a delight and responds quickly to issues, the pool and deck are great, kitchen well equipped, plenty of seating around deck. The negatives are the mattresses are old and need replaced, one of the deck umbrellas is broken, towel rack broken, ceiling fan not working, rowboats advertised on website not useable. Other things that are not the fault of owner but renters should be aware of: the inlet to the bay is full of jellyfish and not swimmable and mosquitoes and biting flies are abundant. Bring lots of bug spray and be prepared to use it. Having said this my family had a fun time and the scenery is lovely.
