The apartment was lovely, I was grateful for the quick essential Croatian phrases on the wall, there is an air of whimsy in the decor, I had fun spotting the mini Lego figures.central location between the bus and train station and the town centre. Timor, my host was super informative, letting me know good local eateries…. and great recommendations on the ‘best ice cream in Zagreb.

Tibor is a great, very friendly guy, who met us to hand over the keys, although we arrived late in the evening. He even gave us instructions and tips for anything we needed, where to park, where to go, how, what to see. Everything was walking distance from the apartment, and there were cafes and restaurants nearby. Room was nice and cozy.

I can't think of anything worth mentioning.

Good location, quiet, safe, enough space for a short stay. Nice owner met me to give me the (physical) keys and info about the apartment - communicated via WhatsApp. We left keys in the mailbox when we checked out, so that was easy.

The bed was definitely a double/full, not the advertised queen size. Soap dish in the shower was moldy, but otherwise the place was very clean. Small hot water tank for the shower, so you will run out unless you’re quick.

The host met us at the property - this is very unusual these days and we very much appreciated this. The location is great - not far from the centre of Zagreb and equally not far from the train and bus stations. It's a very quiet area and there are several mini supermarkets nearby.

There was only a plastic curtain separating the shower/toilet/washbasin area from the small kitchen - where we come from it is a legal requirement to have 2 doors between the toilet and the kitchen and this was the first time ever that we experienced a toilet effectively in the kitchen. The kitchen area is very small so it would be difficult to cook meals here.
