Unique experience and great food. We liked the Japanese feeling of the property, the hot onsen and the view of the lake from our room.

We have been given the room above the restaurant and we were waken up by the screeching sound of the chairs on the floor.

Highest level of hotel, supreme dinner. Bathtub in the room with view was great.

Although the food was great, it wasn't clear enough when we booked that the second day dinner is almost entirely sea food, which was probelmatic.The hotel should make it clear early enough that the dinner can be based entirely on a single food type, so people with food constraints will know to be prepared. The futon beds are fine, not comfortable, but fine.

It was great food was great. I’m just not sure that people understand what they’re getting into when they go there.

The food was great. Can’t complain. I just don’t understand why they don’t let you wear a bathing suit in the spa. It’s the 21st-century now and we want the experience but not the actual experience.
