Imagine waking up in a beautifully renovated palazzo just 500 meters from Florence’s iconic Ponte Vecchio. Located on the fourth floor of an elegant building along the Arno River, the Vespucci Apartment—unfortunately without a view of the Arno—offers the perfect blend of historic charm and modern comfort, with a modern elevator taking you directly to your door.
Renovated in the winter of 2025, this non-smoking apartment was thoughtfully designed with style and comfort in mind. Measuring 100 square meters (approximately 120 square yards), it offers:
- a spacious kitchen with a dining area, fully equipped with everything you need: gas stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer, coffee maker, toaster, and kettle.
- an elegant living room with a comfortable double sofa bed, perfect for relaxing or hosting guests.
- three cozy bedrooms: two with double beds and one with a single bed.
- two modern bathrooms, each with an elegant shower stall.
Whether you're a family, a group of friends, or a couple looking for extra space, the Vespucci apartment can comfortably accommodate five people, with the option of sleeping up to seven thanks to the sofa bed. The location of the property was excellent for sightseeing most of Florence by walking. About a 10 minute walk from the train station, about a 15 minute walk to most of the Piazza’s, and about a 30 minute walk up the hill to Michelangelo Piazza. Plenty of space in the apartment for 4 to 6 people. The only comments I would have to anyone prior to booking is if you are looking for outdoor space or views from your window… This is really not your place. Additionally, I would suggest to the host that they should provide some of the basic necessities for their guests, like soap and shampoo.

The pros: This is a fantastic apartment, clean and spacious in a beautiful building and great part of town. It’s been newly renovated. It was very comfortable for our party of four.Con’s: there was a miscommunication on how to access apartment. Instructions came in on WhatsApp and not through email or on the VRBO website. This was resolved. The water heater did not work properly and the water pressure was very low. I think these two issues can be resolved. Other than that we absolutely loved this property and hopefully the cons will be resolved because we would love to stay here again.
