Crowne Plaza Orlando - Lake Buena Vista by IHG

I was able to check in early and that was a great benefit. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. It had an awesome pool area and the gym/ fitness center had various machines in working order. There was fresh water and coffee available at any time in the lobby. The manager was very helpful and friendly. The location was within walking distance to many stores and restaurants.

I got a king size room. There were little flies, like fruit flies buzzing around. Maybe because the window actually opened to the roof, or they were coming in from the drain. There was also a dank odor in the room, which I think came from the AC unit. I actually had to open the window to air out the room, which then messed up the humidity in the room. Overall the room was very clean and comfortable except for the flies and off-smelling odor.

My wife and I have been to the hotel a few times over the years, but the changes to the facilities are a nice improvement. The lobby, bar area and pool are very modern and are both encouraging and comfortable. Our room was very nice and clean. The location of the hotel is excellent as it is minutes from Disney Springs and only about 9 miles to City Walk, which includes many diverse restaurants with a few minutes of the hotel. We were especially impressed by the front desk staff, JoJo, Anaya, Teresa and John. They were all extremely pleasant, professional, friendly and helpful. We were also impressed with Jairo, who is one of bartenders and who also displayed the same characteristics as the folks at the front desk. We were also a little disappointed that a specific wine that was listed on the website was not available at the bar. Overall though, we had a nice time, mostly due to the staff and their sincere concern over any minor issues we encountered. We plan to visit again in the near future.

The room was EXTREMELY humid. To the point that the sheets and pillows were wet and we weren’t moved or helped. The shuttle only happed four times a day at really weird times throughout the day which would cause you to be extremely early or extremely late to attractions. The bar/cafe was only open 5 hours a during times when you’d be gone.
