The owner, Paul, is really friendly - giving us recomendations on where to visit and eat, and booking a taxi to the station for us. The hotel is a lovely small one in a very quiet and safe location - about 10/15 minutes walk from the main square. The rooms are small but comfortable and very quiet. Complimentary tea and coffee is available at all hours. The only meal served is breakfast and that was good quality.

Like all hotels in Bruges, it is quite expensive!

We read the reviews which were amazing, but nothing prepared is for how superb this hotel was. The hotel was relatively small , but spotlessly clean. . The lounge area was tastefully decorated in a refined 1920s / 30s style , so warm and cozy. The breakfast area was bright and quite modern. We had the attic room . It was.modern , fresh and the bed was unbelievably comfortable. We didn't expect the room to be this good . The city centre was a very pleasant 10/15 minute walk beside canals . We couldn't rate this hotel , and especially the host Paul , high enough. We will be back

There wasn't one thing we didn't like

The hospitality was outstanding in every respect. Rooms very clean and comfortable, excellent, generous breakfast each day, shared sitting room is an excellent extra. Not fancy but oh so welcoming and well maintained. Walking distance to many places of interest. Loved it

Paul, the owner, was a great host, friendly, efficient and full of helpful information. The breakfast was included and it was first rate, as good as that of hotels charging extra. The bed was very comfortable and the room relatively spacious for a historic, European Inn. Extremely quiet and peaceful. Only a 9 minute walk to Market Place, so the location is exceptional.
