Trillium Boutique City Hotel

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The food at the rooftop restaurant was absolutely delicious and offered a wonderful taste of local cuisine and traditions. The staff were exceptionally friendly, polite, and welcoming, while the room service was prompt and efficient. The on-site Barista coffee shop was a great convenience, and the swimming pool was clean, peaceful, and never overcrowded. The hotel is situated in one of Colombo’s more affluent areas, surrounded by various embassies and consulates. It is also within walking distance of Independence Square Arcade, which offers a variety of food stalls, supermarkets, and banks. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience, and I would happily stay here again.

This is not a reflection on the hotel, but a useful tip for anyone staying here be cautious of tuk-tuk drivers who park around the hotel and quote excessively high fares. Always agree on the price beforehand, or better still, use apps such as Uber or PickMe to book a tuk-tuk or car at a fairer, more transparent rate.
