Kos One Hostel

What an amazing stay! I honestly couldn’t recommend this place enough. I stayed in the 8-bed dorm with a pool view, which I’d definitely recommend. It’s split into two sections of 4 beds with separate entrances, so it feels much more private. The pool area is AMAZING, and the breakfast was one of my favourite things. Crushed avo, eggs on sourdough, an iced latte and juice. I’d easily pay £30 for that in London, where I live! Plus, hot showers… always a win! A big thank you to Wahyu, who was incredibly kind and helpful when I became sick during my stay. All the staff were lovely, and Frank, the owner, was great too. It’s social without being a party hostel, with things like padel and other events, but I still got a good night’s sleep. I’d 100% stay here again! ❤️

It was conveniently located in Canggu if you like the area, stepping on to the main road though is busy. The bathrooms were kept tidy and irregularly freshened up.

I kept finding ants in and around my bed despite the housekeeping staff removing them once, it’s quite loud and there was insufficient space on the top bunk to store your baggage adequately which should have been better thought out. It’s also down an unlit road. When I asked the reception if it was safe, they replied, careful of the dogs, sometimes they bite. Didn’t bite me but also did nothing to put me at ease. For the price it is, you can get better value elsewhere. I checked out after 2 nights of a 4 night stay because I didn’t enjoy this place.
