Absolutely amazing place for a couple of quiet and relaxing days. Great location. Great host. Well-equipped kitchen for cooking. Highly recommended.

Another lovely Christmas spent at the Heron. The cottage could do with a bit of a revamp, but despite this, a very comfy well equipped cottage. Very peaceful location with lovely view over Loch Long. Would definitely recommend. Thank you for the generous Christmas hamper.

The pictures do not show how spacious The Heron is and it’s also very comfortable with much better quality settee and chairs than most holiday cottages.
Beautiful view across Loch Long and a lovely rear fully enclosed garden at the back.
Saw a While Tailed Eagle, the resident red squirrel and a host of birds both on the feeder and on the lovely beach walk.
A beautiful home from home.
