Sent a note to the owner via booking.com because the tv did not work. Glad we did not have any other issue because we never got a response.

Good location near the centre of Bayeux. Comfortable bed, good size bathroom.

The sitting room is a little stark, and doesn't feel 'historic'. Entrance to the property could be made much more attractive. The property didn't really meet our expectations.

The apartment was in a good location, close to the center. The door code system was convenient, too—no ​​need to carry keys around. The mattress was excellent; it was very comfortable to sleep on! It was also quite clean and fresh.

What I disliked most were the terribly squeaky floors: you could hear everything going on outside the room. The Wi-Fi was also very weak, it barely worked. Furthermore, the shower stall wasn't shown in the photos, and now I understand why: someone taller than 180 cm wouldn't fit inside, nor would a very large person. The ceiling in the shower stall could also use some repair, as the paint is peeling, which is rather unpleasant. There was also a sign in the kitchen stating that a €30 fee would be charged if it wasn't cleaned up. This made me not want to use the kitchen at all, as I didn't know exactly what level of cleanliness the host expected.
