The grounds were beautifully maintained. The pool and beach were great. Outdoor grills were excellent as we enjoyed the grilled lobster. Very easy to get to Cruz bay as the taxis were always close by. No hesitation coming back to this property.

The Westin has a great low-key beach on-site. Most accommodations on STJ do not. It makes laying on the beach in the late afternoon wonderful.

Last minute booking because VRBO allowed me to "instant book" (& VRBO charged my credit card in ful) that was not in their inventory. 48 hours prior to arrival, I was scrambling to find another place to stay. Megan, the property manager was exceptional in assisting me! Answered all my questions & provided clairity for where the unit is actually located on property. The units did not have a view of the pool or beach as pics imply, but I knew that prior to check-in. The resort staff were all consistantly good! Service was fantastic! Resort grounds are well taken care of and beautiful!! Probably my favorite part of the resort is how it's tucked into a beautiful cove with sailboats anchored out. Sitting at the restaurant for breakfast on on the beach, the view is amazing! The Villa was nice. Love the open floorpan & the large diningroom table. Could use some updating but not because the furnishings were in poor shape but because its dated. Livingroom furniture was not comfortable but did not spend much time there, so no big deal. Westin provides a ongoing taxi service to & from downtown St. John. Which is super nice! FYI: you must plan ahead and schedule airport transfers to the island ahead of time. This includes picking you up from the airport, and Westin's private ferry transfer from St. Thomas to St. John. The rate includes a return to the airport and unlimited transfers to St. Thomas during your stay. Trust me, you want to avoid the public ferry if you can :)

The Westin needs a refresh. No daily cleaning at these prices. Time to find a different place.
