It was a fun and unique place to stay. Arie was great to work with and made the whole stay easy and welcoming.
It was I little far to walk but the bus to Centraal Station was quick and easy.

Absolutely fantastic location in a quiet neighborhood, but still walking distance from all major attractions, as well as Amsterdam Centraal Station. Living on a house barge in Amsterdam is something we always wanted to try, so this listing really appealed to us. If you are aware that you are booking a unique experience, rather than a fancy hotel, you will not be disappointed. For adventurous travelers, it's wonderful.
It's a barge, not a hotel room, so expect minor inconveniences like purchasing your own ice from the nearby Albert Heijn, slower shower drains, etc. On the whole, we had only minor complaints with our stay. Please note that this listing is not suitable for those with mobility issues.

Great experience staying on this houseboat, especially during SAIL AMSTERDAM. Best part was the private deck to relax. There is no TV which is great for vacation and the room was comfortable with a microwave in the hall.
Would like for there to be extra towels to cover window in bathroom and to cover the floor coming out of the shower.
