Small room, but very clean and nice. There is an elevator and it's just off the ring road. Just cross and you're in the altstadt. An Italian restaurant next door. A German one next to that, and a Vietnamese across the street.

In my case, the TV remote didn't work, and the shower door needed repair, but they should already be fixed. Not so minor was that I didn't see the notification that I need to also pay the 2.5 euro local tax before I had left town. There is no staff at this place, so you'd have to go a few blocks away to their staffed location to pay this. As a foreigner, this will be a big hassle now to go to my bank back home and make an international payment for a small sum, and I will have to overpay to make sure the conversion provides enough.

Good value for money. The room was clean overall and the location was convenient - about a 20-minute walk from the university, which also gave us a nice opportunity to walk through the city. Communication was good as well: there is no traditional reception desk, but our questions via Booking.com were answered quickly.

The mattress was quite firm - my brother liked it, but it was a little too hard for me. The room was clean, although not perfectly, and the renovation looks rather old or poorly finished. There was also an unpleasant toilet-like smell in the corridor, but fortunately there was no smell inside our room. Some traffic noise can be heard, and check-in is completely self-service via a computer, which may feel unusual if you expect a traditional reception.

The beds were comfortable. Cheap option. It is fair for its price. The location is also ok. Also, I tend to prefer hotels with no reception

It could be a bit cleaner and it needs a renovation in the bathroom.
