Duomo Guest House - Stay in Sorrento

Central. Genarro was a really helpful pleasant man, so too were the cleaners. Our room was comfortable and very clean. We loved the juliet balcony overlooking the busy street, watching the world go by. Access to the coffee machine whenever we wanted and a daily clean of apartment if you wanted it.

Just to say the church bells clang from 7.30am

The room is beautifully presented and very clean, the shower is spacious and there was always hot water with good pressure. There is a large full size mirror in the room and a large mirror over the bathroom sink. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked very well. With a lovely little balcony to people watch on the busy Corso Italia. The doors block out much of the noise but things die down shortly after 11pm so we were always able to sleep with no issue, there is some early morning activity as everything opens up and the nearby church bells ring - if you are a light sleeper some earplugs might be useful for those moments but were not necessary for us. The location is excellent making it easy to enjoy Sorrento and pop back to the room throughout the day, short walk to the Marina Grande, the Port, the train station. We loved our stay.

We wanted a room with a balcony that faces into the city so we could enjoy people watch in the evening and watching the place come alive in a morning. It was perfect. The room was bright, clean and fresh and the staff were lovely, very attentive. I would highly recommend. It is in the centre of everything.

Great location right in the heart of the main street

The noise at night was insane, the street below was crazy busy and noisy til 2am. Had ear plugs but could hear music and young people partying all night.
