Everything about the place was very good. Couldn't ask more from the staff before and during my stay. The breakfast choices were excellent and flexible with room for miner improvements. The room was cozy, and had a great shower facility, again potential for miner improvements. As for the location, excellent, great views and central to the high street facilities.

These are not things I disliked, more things that I believe would enhance the experience. The breakfast was full of choice, and I chose both mushrooms and black pudding with my English Breakfast, unfortunately the mushrooms were extremely small resulting in no taste, and the black pudding very thinly sliced and cooked through to a crisp. My room was cozy and comfortable, however I had a double bed that was basically two singles pushed together under one mattress, this made sleeping uncomfortable in the middle of the bed. I would of like a better clothes hanging facility rather than simply wooden pegs from a wall.

We’ve stayed here several times. Staff always very helpful. Great location

Nothing to dislike

The location is convenient to explore the old village of Rye. The staff provided some good recommendations for dinner. Breakfast was included, it wasn't good but they tried

The room is basic and very well worn, the bed was lumpy and bedding threadbare, as were the towels in the bathroom. Breakfast was very ordinary. We paid $523 AUD for this room which was exorbitant but it was the last available in town and maybe they took advantage of that!
