The Carlyon Bay Hotel and Spa

We stayed Friday and Saturday night it was excellent couldn't have asked for anything better

Location was brilliant, bar and restaurant very comfortable. Food very good, staff very helpful.

Bathroom a bit dated, we prefer a walk in shower so having to climb into a bath was not ideal. Sink area had no room although there was a shelf above it.

The spa area was absolutely impeccable and the perfect place to relax. The hotel itself is clean and restful, great location. Great for a stop off in Cornwall

Our room looked out on a busy car park on a first floor so groups arriving for golf etc could see in and some pretty ugly drains which meant we had to keep our curtains closed. It wasn’t very fitting for our anniversary and we were glad we only stayed for one night as a longer stay would have made us feel quite cooped up. Staff are great and friendly but younger team members could be upskilled in understanding the menu/questions without having to wait to ask managers to come over.

Little extras in the room as in fresh fruit, chocolates and flowers.

The noise form where the room was located by an external staircase by the rooms windows and the door to as in noisy people coming and going all the time and the door constantly banging.
