Quaint old building with some nicely laid out public spaces. Our bedroom was cosy and warm and had all the facilities we needed, including a good shower. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was served exactly as I asked and was very tasty.
Minor points, dainty china cups for coffee at breakfast are not my thing. The sugar comes in big lumps so if you only want a small amount of sugar in your coffee its difficult. If relying on public transport to get around you need to plan carefully as the local bus only runs hourly during the day and less in the evening. The local cabs are however fairly cheap and reliable.

Beautiful manor. Quiet and welcoming and set in lovely gardens with easy parking.
Our suite The Demelza was spacious and comfortable. Swimming pool was amazing. Pool room was enjoyable.
The breakfast was first class. Cooked to order or a selection of pastries and homemade granola if preferred.
Staff were all lovely and very helpful.
Our main living room had no curtains at the patio door so felt very exposed at night and although our terrace was private we would have felt more cozy to shut the night out.
More soft lighting would have been easier on the eye too and a separate light over the dressing table area would have been helpful.
Lots of steps to our room - but we soon discovered - that’s usual for Cornwall!!
