Beautiful old period building in the central pedestrian area a great location- just a few minutes walk from the station and 2 minutes from the Castle & Priory
Attention to detail non the decor - scuffed skirting boards and wonky toilet roll holder

Excellent Italian restaurant with fantastic midweek offers 5 minutes away.

Staff and atmosphere
Parking problematic and breakfast served after I needed to be out for work.

Central location - access to the city on the doorstep.
There’s no immediate parking and breakfast was a long wait (1 hour) - mediocre when it arrived. The hotel was understaffed. Shower water pressure was poor. No complimentary bottled water in the room. No great value at all£130 for the night (single occupancy double)
