The hotel is very central and staff were very helpful.

Parking was quite difficult.

The spa bath! Location! The breakfast!

Bed sheets weren’t that comfy/ soft but nice enough.

The room was very spacious and luxurious. The bed linen, robes and towels were all excellent quality. Breakfast was delivered to the room at exactly the time we asked for. Location was central to Bowness and within a 2 minute walk of the lake, bars, shops and restaurants.

We did not really like the nets on the windows and felt blinds would have fitted much more with the style of the room. Did not like having toilet brush in bathroom but that is a personal preference. The cleanliness of toilet on arrival could have been better but overall bath and rest of bathroom spotless. The lighting system was a bit fiddly as it has mood lighting in the suite. We found a couple of switches did not work at bedside. Instructions for use would be very useful on arrival. Also some bottled water in the fridge would have been appreciated considering the usual full price of room. On the terrace outside the room as you walk up there were cigarette butts left in an ashtray. These could have easily been removed before our arrival. These are things we would like to see improved to enhance the experience for the price. Overall these did not take away the ambience the room gave and we would return (but only at the discounted price we were offered to upgrade).

It was quite near to the shops

Room was very hot would not have liked to have been in that room when it was really hot in the summer
